We arrived very late (23:30). It was difficult navigating the area that late at night, but we were able to find it with the help of Google Maps and the directions from the host.Our stay was during Europe's record heat in late June. There was no working air conditioning in the unit and only one fan was working. We kept windows open and it was pretty comfortable throughout the day with the slight breeze we were getting. The pool was WONDERFUL! Having laundry on site was a bonus. Everything was great. The views were spectacular. We loved our stay in Argegno.

Gorgeous views

The views of this home took our breath away. It had everything we needed. It was clean, loved the care package.

Spectacular lake views

Great rental. Secure. Great parking. Quiet. Odorless. Unfortunately ants are a local guest in May when we were there but they’re harmless.

Lovely

Loved the view! Walk up to the apartment was invigorating but could be quite tough if you don’t have a car (we arrived by ferry). Very clean. Communication was very responsive and he.

Good location but poor response to issues

This property would not suit anyone with mobility issues. We reported several issues to Lake Como Holidays and the concierge service but had no response or action. Importantly, the air conditioning does not work. The dishwasher, coffee machine, and bathroom light did not work. The bathroom mirror was broken. We also noticed that the balustrade was loose on the balcony. There were no entry instructions- ie you had to enter through the garage entrance which we only found out by luck. Most disappointing was the lack of response to our queries.

Nice view but isolated

The good things: apartment is large and comfortable. Lots of storage. Good water pressure and shower is good. There were two tablets each for the washing machine and dishwasher. Lots of complimentary shower gel packs. There is a designated garage in the parking garage.There a TV, DVD player and CD player. You need to take your own, though - there isn't a DVD library in the apartment.There was a lovely 'welcome pack' box, which was a nice surprise.The view over the lake and moutains is lovely.Things that could be improved: There are several key safes at the bottom of the driveway to the garage. There was nothing denoting our flat number (6a), and I had to guess which one it was. New, waterproof, labels would help.The four keys are not marked to denote what they are for.There were no instructions for entering the parking garage.After 5 minutes sitting in the apartment, I started reacting to dust. Although the apartment is clean, it needs a good anti-dust clean. It gets cold at night, and there are blankets in the cupboards, but a duvet would have been good. The internet connection is hit-and-miss. Several times, we lost connection. General advice if you're thinking of booking: we were in 6a, which is up two flights of stairs. The apartment complex is high up, so it gets quite windy up there. Parking in the Lake Como area is a pain, and Argegne is no different. We walked down to the village and back up again, twice - it is not easy!

The rental house was generally good and met our expectations. However, the air conditioning was not working throughout our stay. This significantly affected to comfort and sleep quality. We appreciated the fans provided, but they could not compensate for the lack of functioning air conditioning at the hot summer season.

If some were missing, it’s possible previous guests took them, and our on-site team would have been very happy to provide everything you needed during your stay. Traumhafte Aussicht - etwas spärliche Ausstattung

Der Blick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend. Leider mangelte es bei der Ausstattung an einigen Punkten: ein hässlicher, dunkler Fleck von 20 cm Durchmesser auf dem Teppich, ein Bettlaken mit großem Loch, eine defekte Kaffeemaschine, vier abgezählte Messer und Gabeln, keine Auflagen für die Liegen auf dem Balkon, schmutzige Sitzpolster bei den anderen Balkonmöbeln… die reklamierte Kaffeemaschine und das Laken wurden vom lokalen Büro ingnoriert. Schade!!!

July 2018 We stayed here with our two kids for 10 days and would definitely recommend. The location is great, a 10 minute walk to the charming village of Argegno and the view from the apartment’s generous sized balcony is amazing. The kids loved the pool and from the village there are ferries to all the towns along the lake. Plenty to see and do. Apartment was well equipped. Air-con not as cool as I’d like but fans made up for that. All in all a great place to stay! Joan, UK

June 2016 We really liked the property thank you. The property initially had no hairdryer however you quickly supplied us with one when we asked for one. This was obviously excellent customer service. We took the funicular up the hill which was great fun. We also ate in the pizzeria which was a fantastic meal. You could mention to guests that they can go down the steps to town rather than walk all the way along the main road. We explored and found this short cut, but It would be useful for guests to be informed of this route to town as it is not obvious. I hope the above is helpful. Nathalie, UK

The view and location were wonderful and your directions very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine worked well. Argegno is a pretty town to stay in. We would recommend it to our friends.
