Heerlijk groot huis. Ruim genoeg. Electrische houtkachel was lekker. De tuin is omheind, wat fijn was voor de hond. We misten alleen een bedlampje en een prullenbak voor in de slaapkamers. Wandelroute vanuit het huis met de hond is wat beperkt. Kerstmarkt in Durbuy was super gezellig en restaurant Karawa in Barvaux was top, heerlijk gegeten. We hebben een leuke week gehad.

Aangekomen in donker en ontoegankelijk huis. Het is erg glad buiten en dat zorgde voor valpartij. Het huis was ijskoud bij aankomst en had 2 uur nodig om op redelijke temperatuur te komen. De sauna blijkt stuk te zijn. De eigenaar wist dat vantevoren maar we zijn niet geinformeerd. Bij navraag bij beheerder zeer ongepast te woord gestaan door hem. Heel slechte ervaring!!

Helaas kregen we pas bij aankomst te horen dat de sauna stuk is (hoewel dat blijkbaar al enkele maanden zo is). Gelukkig konden we wel de extra douche gebruiken die in die ruimte aanwezig is. In één van de badkamers was de verwarming verwijderd omdat ook deze stuk is, maar deze was niet vervangen. Dit weekend draaiden de buitentemperaturen rond het vriespunt dus dat was wel een koude badkamer! Verder zijn sommige matrassen wel eens aan vervanging toe... Maar: het is en blijft een fijn huis dat we nu al enkele keren huurden. Prima contact met de vriendelijke conciërge!!!

Die Bettwäsche ist in Ordnung und die Unterkunft war relativ sauber. In der Küche und insbesondere an den Dunstabzugshauben funktionieren viele Strahler nicht, nur eine Glühbirne beleuchtet die beiden Herde. Keine Erklärung auf Französisch, aus der klar hervorgeht, dass diese Unterkünfte nicht für nicht niederländischsprachige Mieter gedacht sind. Die Sauna ist nur gegen einen Aufpreis von 45 Euro nutzbar. Schließlich ist die Unterkunft recht schlecht schallisoliert und vor allem lässt der Duschkopf oben fast kein Wasser durch. Zu den positiven Punkten gehört, dass die Räume sehr angenehm sind und die überdachte Terrasse sehr praktisch ist.

Het huis was ruim voor ons gezin van 4 met grote hond. De keuken was voorzien van de nodige zaken en de sauna was zeker een pluspunt! Helaas mocht er wel iets beter gekuist worden (stof op de kasten, kapot glas achter de gordijn, vuil afwasmachien en filter). De mini-voetbal in de garage was stuk en de tv werkte ook niet. De ontvangst was wel heel vriendelijk. Misschien een suggestie voor volgende keer bij koud weer: de verwarming al aan zetten, want toen we toekwamen was het 12 graden in het hele huis en het heeft een dag geduurd voor de bovenverdieping ook maar iets was opgewarmd. We hebben in de buurt wel mooie wandelingen gemaakt: Wéris, Durbuy en Barvaux zijn mooie plekjes in de Ardennen!

Maison spacieuse dans un cadre nature

La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Il ne manque rien pour cuisiner (sauf produits de base a amener). Le seul bémol est la décoration de la pièce de vie qui mérite un veritable rafraîchissement.
