Bufati is the old name of a farmhouse situated in the countryside between Florence and Siena. The small medieval village of San Donato in Poggio is about 1 km away. Here we are in one of the most charming area, among vineyards and olive-groves, near to very interesting sites like Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni.
Sonia, Pierluigi, Fabio, Laura e Niccolo' give you the opportunity to rent the apartment built in the old barn, in a very familiar and comfortable environment, for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Top-Resort. Ein unglaublich schönes Anwesen, noch viel besser als in der Beschreibung angekündigt. Ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Nette Gastgeber, die jederzeit und kurzfristig helfen. Bestens geeignet für Radtouren, Wanderungen oder einfach nur durchatmen und chillen.

Great place

This place was beautiful! Probably one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Laura was so helpful with anything we needed. The pool was amazing, we used almost everyday. Very central location. We visited florence several times and also siena, San Gimignano and greve. All within 40 minutes driving. Laura also had some great suggestions for eating. I would love to come back again. Thank you Laura for sharing your wonderful home!

Herrliche Ruhe

Alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Sehr sauber, Kücheneinrichtung ok und für uns ausreichend. Liegt etwas abseits , deshalb haben wir es auch ausgesucht um die sehr vollen Innenstädte von Florenz, Pisa und Siena ab Nachmittag am sehr gepflegten Pool ausklingen zu lassen.Sehr freundliche , familiäre Vermieter, gepflegtes Anwesen.Restaurantauswahl in der näheren Umgebung von Pizzeria bis Toskanaküche erreichbar, wer will auch über den steilen und steinigen Zufahrtsweg auch zu Fuß machbar, aber sportlich . 1 kleiner Supermarkt im Ort, der aber auch herrliche Oliven, frische Schinken und Käseauswahl bietetZum ausruhen perfekt,

Beautiful Chianti

This BEAUTIFUL, unique property made for a lovely 4 night stay. (Bring your slippers as the floors can be a bit rough on your socks, but otherwise a very beautiful, CLEAN property) Beds / pillows are a teeny bit uncomfortable, but the suite is incredibly clean, the hosts so friendly & AMAZING. We enjoyed the solitude very much after driving from a BUSY stay in Florence. Wineries nearby, as well as the beautiful town of San Donato. Owners are SO lovely, property/ pool lovely, it’s a win win. *Note there is no hot tub as listed. Beautiful bathroom with large sink, great shower. Wardrobes in both bedrooms & desks, each suitable for either a makeup table or computer desk. Washing machine on site worked great, drying rack provided outside. Wifi was a bit weak. For a peaceful get away this is the place for sure! Grocery store nearby Owner responsive to any & every question. Thankyou Laura & Sonia for all your help, so appreciated.

Toscana pur

Gastgeberin eine sehr kommunikative liebens- und hilfreiche Person. Hat ein top Quartier und uns sehr viele Hinweise zu Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung gegeben. Super Pool, leider wetterbedingt n den 10 Tagen nur 3x nutzbar. Auf diesem Weg liebe Grüße nach San Donato

Fantastisch verblijf

Super locatie met mooie steden in de buurt, ook het dorp zelf was charismatisch. Zalige rust in een idyllische grote tuin. Wij werden perfect ontvangen en geen enkele vraag die we stelde, was teveel. Qua hygiëne was het huis op en top! Vol lof!

Erholung pur!

Wir hatten mit unseren beiden erwachsenen Kindern herrliche 2 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung von Laura und ihrer Familie. Die Familie wohnt in einem separaten Haus auf dem weitläufigen Gelände, ist immer ansprechbar, aber zurückhaltend. Den tollen Pool (mit unterschiedlicher Tiefe) nutzen die Gäste der beiden Wohnungen und die Eigentümer gemeinsam, aber man kommt sich nie in die Quere, es gibt klare Absprachen. Wir haben es so genossen, zum Frühstück den in Deutschland sooo seltenen Wiedehopf (Upupa) zu beobachten und den Gesängen von Pirol, Zwergohreule und Zikaden zu lauschen. Sonst hört man nichts, außer ab und zu Verkehr von der nahe gelegenen Straße. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, wer kochen will, sollte sich eine kleine individuelle Reise-Kochausstattung mitnehmen (ich habe immer Gewürze und scharfe Messer dabei). Die Gegend bietet so viele zauberhafte, schnell erreichbare kleine Orte abseits der "klassischen" Ziele Florenz, San Gimignano und Siena. Unbedingt San Donato, Greve, Castellina und Radda besuchen! Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit, wir kommen wieder!!! Und den Ausblick aus dem Schlafzimmer werden wir vermissen!

Wunderbares Feriendomizil in malerischer Landschaft

Wir haben zwei herrliche Wochen in einer gut ausgestatteten und geschmackvoll landestypisch eingerichteten Wohnung verbracht. Das Ensemble der Gebäude auf dem Anwesen verschmilzt harmonisch mit den Hügeln der Toskana. Wer die etwas steile und gewundene Zufahrt (mit normalen PKW befahrbar) gemeistert hat, wird mit sofortiger Urlaubsstimmung belohnt! In dem großzügigen Swimmingpool haben wir viele erfrischende Stunden verbracht. Die Gastgberin Laura mitsamt ihrer Familie hat uns freundlich empfangen und war jederzeit ansprechbar. Von hier aus nochmal vielen herzlichen Dank!

Wunderschöne Zeit

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Einfache Ausstattung, es hat alles funktioniert. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön und die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr schön mitten in der Natur. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Lage ist prima für Ausflüge in die schöne Toscana ebenfalls gut geeignet.

Détente au coeur du Chianti

Famille de 2 adultes et un bébé de 17 mois. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Sonia. Super semaine au milieu des oliviers et des vignes. La maison est bien équipée et confortable. Extérieur très agréable avec la terrasse pour les repas, la piscine et le grand jardin. Point de chute intéressant pour visiter la Toscane à mi chemin de Sienne et Florence. Quelques commerces et restaurants à San Donato in Poggio à quelques minutes. Très bonne expérience.

Wonderful house with a nearly private pool and fantastic view

We booked this house for a week and enjoyed our very calm, relaxing and quiet stay a lot! Thanks to Laura the landlord - she was very supportive, helpful and a kind biz partner! The house is located on a small hill, the path (not street ;-) ) is a typical Tuscany landscape style - I wouldn't use a sports car to come to the house. However, being there we had so, sooo fantastic views around in the Chianti area and to the little village San Donato. Behind us were trees. The pool could be used for only the 7 people we were there in summary (with the other house) and the owners who live next to "our" house. We saw her every day in the best manner. The house itself is furnished with really nice, typical Tuscany / Italian furniture - it felt very cosy and warm from the very beginning. Dishes and pots are there, anything else you should bring with you, incl. salt & pepper, toilet paper and the fundamental things you need. Anything else you can buy in the Coop 5min per car. Net-net: I can't recommend this flat to anybody since we will definitely come back - alone and with friends for the other house! And we want to have the houses available for us and our next stay ;-)

Une perle en Toscane

Un séjour fantastique dans une superbe propriété avec une très belle vue, la maison, la piscine, la situation proche de Florence, San Gimigniano, Volterra etc... L'accueil et les bons conseils de Laura et sa famille font que l'on s'y sent tout de suite très bien ! Rien à redire, on y reviendra !

Schöne Ferienwohnung in gepflegter Umgebung

Sowohl die Wohnung selbst als auch die gesamte Anlage sind wirklich schön und machen einen gepflegten Eindruck. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und bei Problemen gut erreichbar, wohnen direkt im Nachbarhaus. Bis zum Ort San Donato mit Restaurants und Supermarkt sind es nur 1-2 Kilometer. 2 kleine Abstriche gibt es: die Ausstattung ist relativ spartanisch (keine Mikrowelle, kein Toaster, keine Spülmaschine, keine Wäscheklammern, nur 1 Rolle Toilettenpapier...). Die Betten sind bei Anreise auch selbst zu beziehen, etwas ungewöhnlich - dafür ist der Mietpreis aber vollkommen angemessen. ...die Anfahrt ab der Dorfstraße zum Ferienhaus ist auf steilem, kaum befestigtem Weg doch etwas abenteuerlich. Insgesamt aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

La dolce vita in Toscana

Entre la splendide piscine, la vue grandiose, le calme, et l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, ainsi qu'une situation idéale pour découvrir la Toscane, Nous ne voyons que des points positifs dans ce gîte. Cela fait déjà la deuxième fois que nous y séjournons et peut-être pas la dernière. Famille L.

Herrlich!

Wir haben drei sehr schöne Wochen in Bufati verbracht - es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir ganz gegen unsere Gewohnheit dieses Jahr nochmals nach San Donato fahren werden. Das gepflegte Anwesen liegt sehr ruhig, die Wohnung ist äußerst sauber und gut ausgetattet. Wir haben die entspannten Tage am Pool sehr genossen. Bufati ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Siena und Florenz, auch die vielen hübschen toskanischen Örtchen sind gut zu erreichen. In San Donato bekommt man alles, was man braucht (alimentari, marcelleria, panificio - alles da). Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben und betreut gefühlt, für Fragen standen Laura, Sonia und ihre Familien immer zur Verfügung und waren gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die netten Gespräche und die herzliche Atmosphäre. Einzig der Weg zum Haus könnte etwas "gefälliger" sein. Aber das haben wir in Italien schon des öfteren gedacht. Kurz: uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Toskana in ganzer Pracht

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr authentisch, passt perfekt zu der Gegend. Mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet lässt sich der Urlaub entspannt genießen. Der große Swimmingpool verdient besondere Erwähnung, einfach super. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem wunderbare Gegend, Ferienhaus und die Gastgeber, perfekt für einen Urlaub in der wunderschönen Toskana!
