Villa Silene is a welcoming three-story villa located on a hillside, facing the sea. It sleeps nine people. From Villa Silene you will enjoy a breathtaking view over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the sea. Villa Silene is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two panoramic private terraces with a view of the sea, a private patio, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.
You will be roughly 7 km (4.3 miles) from Sorrento, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.3 km (roughly 1400 yards), a grocery store at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 350 meters (1150 feet) and the closest beach (La Tonnarella beach) at 6.5 km (roughly 4 miles). You will reach Villa Silene from the parking area going up a short public route that includes approximately 12 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Silene. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge inside the entrance gate.
Villa Silene is tended by the owner, who occasionally stays in an apartment with separate entrance on the top floor.

Swimming Pool
The above-ground swimming pool is 3 meters (10 feet) large by 6 meters (20 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. The swimming pool has an octagonal shape. The area is equipped with sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the sea. The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.
Patio
The patio is 140 square meters (1500 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic wood roof. It is equipped with sofas and armchairs and with tables and chairs. On the patio you will find a cooking area. This area is very well equipped and with a five-burner gas cooker. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the patio you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery.
Ground FloorLiving Room
The ceiling of the living room is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is a nice fireplace. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a small high window.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through a corridor. The floor is paved with terracotta tiles. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the patio with a view of the sea.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through a corridor.
First FloorTerrace 1
The first terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a small sofa and two armchairs, as well as with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery and of the swimming pool.
Bedroom 1 - a pass-through room
Important notice: members of your party will need to walk through this bedroom to reach the second bedroom. You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The floor is paved with wood. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the first bedroom going down six steps. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The room also has a small high window. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid yellow majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Second FloorTerrace 2
The second terrace is 8 square meters (86 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the greenery.
Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the third bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a second terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
