The cottage was exactly what we were after.
The cottage was exactly what we were after. We arrived and didn't need to leave until checking out time. The nature reserve has some nice walks, where we wore out our terrier before relaxing in the hot tub.

Modern clean cottage, friendly hosts.
Modern clean cottage, friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay over the New year., 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Some nice walks straight from the front door, which was great having the dog. Couple pubs in walking distance, Lovely hot tub which split up the chilled days when stayed in. Travelled to Matlock Bath and Bakewell easily, with the latter go early as it can get very busy……Oh and Comfy beds.

We had a fantastic stay at White Heather Barn.
We had a fantastic stay at White Heather Barn. The barn is beautiful, equipped with everything you could possibly need and was like a home from home. All the little extra touches made it perfect, Heather left us milk and prosecco in the fridge and a beautiful homemade cake. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was great to spend a cold wintry evening in. There's a lovely pub within walking distance for a drink, and The Dog and Pentrich does a beautiful Sunday lunch. We will absolutely come back, as long as they'll have us.
