Nearby attractions include Wheathill Golf Club, where you can practise your swing, Lytes Cary Manor, a stunning manor house encircled by lovely gardens and owned by the National Trust, and Combe Hill Wood, a sizable National Forest. In the direction of the Mendip Hills AONB, there are other points of interest, including the Bishop's Palace & Gardens, the Wookey Hole Caves, and the walking and cycling routes in the Ebbor Gorge National Nature Reserve.
