Welcome to beautiful Sefton & our heritage home, parts dating back to 1865.
Wake to the sound of birdsong and decide what to do for the day, be it chilling onsite, fishing, exploring walks around Mt Thomas or visiting the many vineyards only 20mins drive away. With Rangiora and Christchurch a mere 10-25 mins drive there is plenty to do and see before relaxing in a tranquil country oasis.
With breakfast of cereals and toast provided to enjoy at your own leisure (for up to two days) the options for the day are endless.

Well behaved pets are welcome.

Great location and property (and pets)

Highly recommend staying at this beautiful semi-rural spot. Digby and Bailey (dogs) made our trip super homely - and the hosts are very generous with details like gum boots for exploring, books, and breakfast food.

Dogs, decent coffee, delightful hosts and damn fine stay.

Loved our stay. Max and Steve super friendly and helpful , wonderful fruit and really good coffee for breakfast. Loved meeting Digby and Bailey too, with added bonus of a garden and paddock wander, new chicks and bonkers Doug.

Beautiful hone snd hosts

Just an outstanding stay with wonderful hosts who have created a warm and creative atmosphere inside and out. We felt hugely welcomed. 
and our dog Elton had the time of his life—he arrived back home happily exhausted!

cute and convenient

lovely little cottage with everything that a couple could need for a getaway. The local pub was a bonus for some yummy cheap meals but with all of the fantastic facilities in the cottage, there is no need to go out if you don't want to. The special touches such as the home stewed plums for breakfast were lovely touch. would definitely recommend this spot to others.

A very quiet, relaxing place.

The cottage was clean and tidy,our dogs were welcomed and had plenty of space to run around. A very warm welcome by the hostess and her pets. Absolutely loved our stay.

We stopped here for one night after flying from New York to Christchurch. Peaceful and restful small-farm setting helped greatly with jet lag. The cottage was lovely and squeaky clean. Our hostess Max was friendly and cordial.

A very nice cottage, very friendly hosts and a great place to stay with your dog. Cottage is very well equipped, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was provided with home prepared fruit, cereals and spreads for toast. Would definitely come again.

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay in the lovely appartment. Max and Steve are super hosts!They are very respectful of the guests' privacy, open to questions and happy to share a chat with a good sense of humor. The garden is lovely to walk in or to sit and watch the animals and the surroundings. The dogs, Bailey and Digby, are great friends, well behaved, obedient and sociable. We were guests for three nights and would have liked to stay for a month.
