Overall, this property matched my needs, was comfortable and clean, and the host was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. We had quite a bit of trouble sleeping in (past 7:30-8 am every day) as there was very loud and ongoing construction in the building next door, which shares a door with the Master bedroom.

Great visit to Madrid

Excellent experience, Host answered my question. Highly recommend! Great location, high quality linens, washer/dryer, air conditioning works great and quiet for sleeping late on vacation. I would like to visit again.

Location was good. The metro was nearby but we were able to walk to major museums and other places of interest. Was Clean. Host was very responsive to questions. However, there was a lot of noise at noise in the back bedroom at night which was the only problem we encountered.

When we arrived, there was a strong odor of cleaning solution. We called the host who offered no solution. We later found a mop under the couch that was likely contributing to the lingering smell. When we opened some windows to try and air out the rooms, we found a concrete foundry in a courtyard that was attached to our apartment. The noise from the concrete mixing would start at 0800 and we would hear it into the evening as well. Sometimes there was scraping and pounding. All the windows were covered in opaque white film so there was no view to the outside and no natural light.

Easily walkable to most everywhere and within 10 min to subway. Double front door (different than picture online) is at street level.. can hear everyone walk by. Construction next door is loud.. right on the other side of a door and window in the back bedroom that are locked. Walls must be very thin. One room was completely empty. Lamps in the back bedroom but no outlets to plug into. Stucco/paint needed in a few places.. felt like it was in the middle of a renovation. Using the automated lock system was tricky.. Emilio was very responsive and answered all our questions quickly! The apt was clean and kitchen (efficiency) had everything we needed (did have to go get dish soap) but no issues.
