The neighborhood is known for its large international population and busy streets lined with Middle Eastern pastry shops and restaurants. Nature lovers won't want to miss Britzer Garten, a lovely park with frequent flower shows. Neukölln's Turkish Market is the perfect place to shop for pottery, rugs, spices and fresh produce. Other neighborhood highlights include the Schloss Britz, an 18th century mansion that is now a museum, and quaint Rixdorf, a charming village-like area that's perfect for an afternoon walk. Neukölln has excellent U-Bahn access and several bus lines.
