The Hayloft has undergone an extensive restoration, reaching the pinnacle of contemporary standards while also preserving its original character. The estate itself, steeped in a storied history dating back to the early 19th-century, was once the home of the distinguished Herdman family and the renowned hymn writer, Cecil Frances Alexander, celebrated for composing the globally revered hymn, 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'.

The Hayloft comprises three well-appointed bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed with ample wardrobe space and a dedicated workspace, accommodating a total of six guests. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite facility, king-size bed and is equipped with a 40-inch Smart TV for added convenience and entertainment. Additionally, the property offers a second full-sized bathroom, a fully furnished kitchen with modern amenities, and a spacious living area furnished with a 55-inch Smart TV for an enhanced guest experience.
Externally, the estate encompasses extensive grounds, including a sprawling woodland trail situated opposite the prominent Glebe House. As you approach via the private lane, a well-maintained tennis court comes into view, available for complimentary use at your convenience.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The hayloft is situated just 5 minutes away from the swinging bridge, which lets you into Sion Mills. This trail leads you past the Historic Linen Mill and the weir.

Great place to say
This property has been renovated to a high specification. Its light and airey. And is very comfortable. The grounds are nice and we took full benefit of them. Not suitablw for young children though.

Quiet apartment in beautiful location
The apartment was ideally located near the village of Sion Mills. Suited our family very well for walking, fishing and golf.
The apartment was well kitted out, very comfortable and cosy. We are all looking forward to returning next year.
