Idyllic setting and spacious accommodation.

The gardens are amazing and the river at the bottom just makes it perfect. The house had practically everything we needed and there was plenty of space for our group of 11. We had the most amazing holiday, loads to do and see nearby and a great place to come back to. Didn’t want to leave. Maybe clarify that the bunk beds are only suitable for children.

Really good place to get away and immerse yourself into the Welsh countryside.

Ideal retreat to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Shops are only a short walk from the house and the town has a good atmosphere with coffee shops and pubs. A great place to stay if you're looking to explore Snowdonia too. Instructions on the lead up to our stay were very clear and the place was clean and very welcoming. Overall we really enjoyed it and would go again.

Wow, what a great home to stay in for a holiday break.

The house was clean and tidy, 6 good sized bedrooms, 3 Bath bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, huge dinning table, living room with real log fire. This was ideal for 6 adults. The view out of the front of the house is picturesque & with a hot tub which was great, also the games room above the garage is well equipped. It's a 10 minute walk into town. Dolgellau is a smashing town with everything you need.

Great place and location

The size of the property and the gardens were excellent, this is a great base camp to explore North Wales The WiFi is very poor, this needs sorting asap especially when you have children that rely on WiFi these days. And TBH, so do I, Also the size of the fridge, the tiny fridge is nowhere near big enough for a property that can have 12 guests staying, there was 10 of us and we could not get our delivery in the fridge

Hello Carl, Thank you for your review. I am glad you loved the gardens and that the house offered you a great place to set up camp whilst exploring North Wales. Thank you for your feedback regarding the Wi-Fi, however, this is something out of our control but we will look into the matter nonetheless.

Beautiful location

The location of the house is fantastic, a sunny evening in the hot tub with a view of the river was great! The gardens are lovely and clearly well looked after. The house was plenty big enough for our group, with several living spaces. Beds were comfy, and showers were good. Plenty of parking too. We'd definitely stay again. Thankyou! * Not enough glasses, general kitchen equipment for a place that sleeps 12 * Fridge is way too small for a large property, and having the freezer in the summer house was a bit of a pain * The bbq was missing the griddle, so we had to change our plans and had no one to get in touch with to rectify. * Lack of curtains in the rooms meant everyone was up really early! Overall we had a lovely time, it was just lacking a few things that'd make it a bit more comfortable :)

Lovely House For a Family Catch Up - six adults and two children

The house has two separate wings for the bedrooms - three on one side and three on the other. This was very helpful to managing noise from the kids in the mornings. There are also a number of common areas that could be used flexibly for the kids to play or watch tv, while the adults could catch up in the other spaces. The long dining table was great for meal time and the kitchen was really spacious for cooking. We cooked most meals at the house. Other great amenities include the hot tub, the outdoor patio set and the games room. Overall, the house is excellent. There are a few suggestions: 1. Fridge and Freezer - We had a lot of people so it would be great if the fridge was bigger (upright), rather than an undercounter one and if the freezer was located in the kitchen, rather than in the summer house. 2. Internet profile - It might be helpful if the house profile on the internet was explicit that the games room (which was fantastic) was in the outbuilding that is separate from the main house. 3. Other nits and nats - It would be great if (a) there were a few more tea towels for the kitchen, and (b) the rubbish removal service collected the garbage when it was supposed (in the welcome book it said it was to be collected on Wednesdays, which it wasn't), and (c) the wifi had better continuity across the house. But overall these are minor things.

Hello Lauren, It is wonderful to hear that you had a wonderful time with your family and were able to make the most of the property's space to help keep everyone entertained and happy. The games room sounds like it would have been a hit with the children and I hope you were able to make some unforgettable memories. Thank you for your feedback and the suggestions you have made I will share these with the team. We hope you will book again with us in the future.
