Welcome to Family & Friends Holiday House

Our house is located in the established neighborhood of Snowmass Village, overlooking the majestic Snowmass Mountains and world class Snowmass Ski Resort on one side and the Snowmass Club Golf Course and​ Anderson Art Center on the other side. We have spaces for 2 extra cars and are on the bus line for easy transportation around town and to Aspen.

Start your day out by taking a stroll or a bike ride on the paved trail only steps from the house. Enjoy breakfast on the deck and watch for our wanna-be residential furry and feathered friends, or the frequent morning hot air​ balloon flying overhead.
We are minutes away from Fall & Winter Activities! Enjoy the change of colors throughout this magnificent​ Valley!

Head into Aspen and enjoy the remaining weeks of Fall festivities! Browse​ through art galleries​ by known and local artists and​ of course the shopping! Shop to drop as they might say. Take a break and try out one of the many restaurants to satisfy​ all pallets from fine dining to "make your own pizza!" We have it all!

After an eventful day, come back to the Chalet and relax as you all rehash over evening apre' or a down to earth BBQ! Debate over who had the most fun-filled​, exciting, adventurous​ day!

Bring your Dog! We are a pet-friendly​ family. We provide an outdoor tether and a dog washing station. We only ask that you do not keep your dog inside the house for more than a few hours at a time. Most areas in Snowmass and Aspen allow dogs on premises​.

The Reeves Family Ski Chalet is best suited for family's, couples or individuals wanting to visit this area for its unique activities and natures surrounding​ wonders! The Chalet​ is ​thoughtfully decorated by the owner, a long time and current Ski Instructor of Aspen Skiing Company! She added special​ touches and decor of a vintage​ ski chalet with its​ classic wooden​ skis and leather ski boots, photos of famous skiers and even a ski bike claimed to be used by The Beatles in a 1965 Beatles Movie. The Chalet​ is simply furnished, comfortable beds and has the modern conveniences​ and home entertainment systems we are accustomed​ to. For a touch of nostalgia, we provided board games and puzzles for real family and friend entertainment!

The Reeves Family live very close by and will be able to assist you with suggestions for a memorable holiday. We invite you with open arms and a big heart to enjoy our home and this beautiful town we live in!

Mountain Bliss

My family was thrilled to be amidst the snow covered Snowmass mountains in a cozy ski chalet. The accommodations met all our needs and the owner was very helpful. We would highly recommend this property.

Cute Chalet with Gorgeous Views

This little Chalet is a gem! Owner's hospitality and responsiveness is wonderful. Fabulous views from the deck of Snowmass Mountain. The house is nothing fancy but has eeverything you need. Short walk to the free town shuttle. We would stay here again.

Perfect Snowmass Getaway!

My family had the best time here! Katie was so welcoming, knowledgeable of the area, and keeps up a fantastic vacation rental. We had everything we needed and more! We loved how convenient it was to the shuttle stops as we never had to drive anywhere once we arrived. The views of the mountains were amazing and bonus points for being able to see the Snowmass fireworks on New Years Eve from the deck. Highly recommend and if we ever come back to Aspen we will definitely stay here again. Katie, thank you so much for making this a memorable trip and especially for the delicious apple pie!

Everything you need!

This property is gorgeous and spacious--my husband and I really enjoyed the peaceful, secluded location with every amenity you could want incredible access to all Snowmass has to offer. Katie is also so sweet and helpful and was amazing to us during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Katie!

Awesome retreat

Lovely views from deck and so easy to get around Snowmass village. Loved the walking trail right behind the house. Kitchen was awesome and beds very comfy.

Beautiful Valley View Location

My wife, dog, and I had a fantastic stay at the Reeves Chalet. The location was amazing, with beautiful views of Snowmass Valley in almost every direction. We spent some lovely evenings lounging in the hot tub looking out on the remainders of winter visible in Snowmass Mointains still snowy slopes. The main living room has giant windows on all sides, so even when inside it feels like you’re surrounded by the wilderness. We’d definitely come back again!

Convenient Snowmass home

Katie Reeves, the owner, makes this a good choice in Snowmass Village. She is easy to communicate with, lives next door, and is very very gracious. Great views and deck. It is a bit close to the road so you do hear some traffic.

Amazing cabin

We absolutely loved our stay here at Reeve's Chalet. Came here in early March to Ski/Snowboard at Aspen/snowmasss. The Cabin was decorated very tastefully and allowed us to really have a cozy stay here. The kitchen is massive so it was really nice to cook for the group of 7 people. The beds were clean and had ample amount of extra blankets for us Californians who are not used to the cold weather. It is very close to the shuttle stop. It's less than 10 min to Snowmass and at night it was about 20 min to Aspen village. Katie, the host, was absolutely terrific. She made sure that we were well situated and in great communication. There was even freshly baked cookies to welcome us and the roads were plowed majority of the time. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fantastic getaway. Definitely will be coming back again. Thank you again Katie!!

An incredibly charming, comfortable and convenient ski chalet...!

Our family loved staying in the Reeves Family Ski Chalet..! The open floor plan upstairs provided an airy, spacious living/dining/kitchen area with spectacular views. The furnishings were top notch and very comfortable with fun, historic ski decor all around. The kitchen was huge, up to date, lavishly equipped and we enjoyed cooking all of our own breakfasts and dinners. We made good use of the gas BBQ grill on the deck as well as the hot tub! The bedrooms were great with all comfy beds and top notch linens. The downstairs bathroom was huge and our party of 6 could never use all the nice towels provided...! Katie is an outstanding host and dropped by for a warm welcome. She has literally thought of everything you could need or want and equipped her cute chalet accordingly. Thank you, Katie....we loved our stay...!

One of our favorites!!!

Everything was perfect with this home and its awesome owner Katie!!! The home was very well stocked and had a great kitchen to hang out for an evening and cook a great meal. Katie has got everything so well stocked through out the this wonderful home. It is so nice to stay in a home that is extremely comfortable from the great leather couch to the comfy beds! Great location only problem there was sooo much more to do than we had time for. Hikes we enjoyed were the Rim trail, Ditch trail, Crater lake and many hikes through Maroon Bells and we loved the hike to eat from ghost town in Ashcroft to the Pine Creek Cookhouse. Thank you Katie!!! We can not wait to visit again!

Lovely mountain stay!

We had a lovely stay in this recently renovated mountain home. Katie is a most welcoming, gracious host who leaves pie and wine, and lives right next door! The main living part of the house is the top floor with panoramic windows around the entire level. The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked; we did not want for anything. A gas grill and large table on the deck made for perfect outdoor evening meals. The three bedrooms are on the lower level; the beds were comfortable. One bathroom with a shower is on the top level; a large bathroom with a separate tub and shower and double sinks is on the lower level. The location was perfect with the shuttle buses picking up around the corner to take us into Snowmass Village or into Aspen. Our 19-month old granddaughter enjoyed (obsessively!) watching for buses from the deck. Other than our moving a couple breakables up high and keeping an eye on the steps to the lower level, it was a perfect home for small children. I would stay here again.

Great Mountain Getaway

This house was perfect, exactly what we were looking for during our weekend getaway to Aspen. The entire upstairs is wall to wall windows providing wonderful natural lighting.The floor plan is open and extremely inviting. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. There was even a little welcome gift of Whole Foods treats waiting for us upon arrival. We were also thrilled that we were able to bring our dogs on this trip as there was an abundance of trails walking distance from the house ready to be explored. We skied one day and the shuttle to the mountain was at the end of the street, literally a 2 minute walk - extremely convenient! The owner lives right next door in the converted garage and was wonderful! She was welcoming and always ready to help out if we needed anything. When we make our next trek up to Aspen we will absolutely be staying here again. Highly recommend this property to families - couples - people with dogs - really anyone!

Great Location in Snowmass!

We stayed at this property for the JAS music festival over Labor Day weekend. The owners greeted me upon check in with a bottle of wine and a pie. It's a lovely property in a great location. The property was very clean and well equipped. The property is a short shuttle ride to the ski slopes and the golf course. We would stay here again.

Stunning cozy perfect little getaway ski chalet

We chose this property without seeing any reviews of it (first time renters!) and we sooo lucked out. This is a perfect place for a single family or multiple couples to kick back and enjoy Snowmass/Aspen without having to be right in the middle of all the hype. The photos don't do the place any justice either- when we walked in our mouths dropped with how gorgeous the views are, giant panoramic windows across entire upper level with wrapping outside deck right off kitchen (including a little two-person hot tub out there!). The owner's attention to detail is evident with every little touch of the place, maps and books of the surrounding area, fully stocked kitchen with utensils , condiments etc, fresh pie and wine in the fridge and even an in person greeting, giving loads of information about the neighborhood trails and restaurants. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway and wants to find that hidden gem of a place, kind of like a mountain treehouse...5 mins from Snowmass Village and roughly 15 minutes from downtown Aspen.

What a great place! Great location, wonderful hosts, comfortable space

With family in the area, we've been coming to Aspen/Snowmass for many years. We've stayed in a variety of places but I think we've found "the place" for future stays. Great location away from the Mall but just a few hundred feet from a major bus line. Views from the kitchen/living area are both up the valley towards the ski hill and also across the valley. Just gorgeous. Comfortable and home-like feel. The hosts are warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

Katie Reeves is a life long international ski instructor and will be more than happy to offer lessons through Aspen Skiing Company! David is an entrepreneur and is highly skilled in property management and outdoor adventure opportunities. Together they raised their now adult Daughter who is working in a career in International Relations!
