Welcome to a charming and cozy countryside cottage with bright interiors. The house is peacefully located and features an impressive 7,000 sqm garden. Here, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility surrounded by spacious lawns, fruit trees, and the forest just beyond the property. In the garden, you'll find a wood-fired sauna with a deck and outdoor seating, as well as a barbecue area next to the sauna. Firewood is included for both the sauna and the grill. A lovely little stream flows beside the sauna. There are beautiful hiking trails just outside the cottage, and the nearest lake is about 12 km away. The cottage is well-equipped and offers a good standard of living: Wi-Fi, TV, and a cozy kitchen for six people with all necessary kitchen equipment. There’s an electric stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, range hood, coffee maker, kettle, and running water. Please note: The wood stove and wood boiler in the kitchen must not be used. There are three bedrooms with a total of six beds. Two of the bedrooms have two single beds each, and the third bedroom has a double bed. Upstairs, there’s also a lounge area with a corner sofa and a table for socializing, located between the two upstairs bedrooms – one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. On the ground floor, there is one bedroom with two single beds. The living room includes a TV, sofa set, coffee table, and a dining area with seating for six. The bathroom was newly renovated in 2025 and is fresh and modern, with a toilet, sink, shower cabin, and washing machine. The cottage is heated (or cooled, if needed) via an air-source heat pump. Please note that the ceiling height in the house is slightly lower than standard. To protect the garden from wild boars at night, the owners have installed an electric fence. Wild boars are very shy and are rarely seen during the day. The fence must always be closed and turned on at night, even if you’re not spending time in the garden. The area is rich in wildlife – with some luck, you might spot deer, moose, hares, or foxes at dawn or dusk. There’s plenty to explore in the area: attractions such as Eventorps Gård, Nuntorps Gård, and a golf course in Mellerud. Great swimming spots can be found at Strömmers Vik by Örsjön, Sikhall by Lake Vänern, or even along the coast for a day trip. The owners have prepared a binder with more great places to visit nearby.
