Situated in the south pacific coast of Mexico , Oaxaca State , in the lovely village of Mazunte , on the beach called Mermejita. Only 45 minutes away from Huatulco international airport and one hour from Puerto Escondido international airport, only 10 min walk from Mazunte.
Mermejita beach is one the few non highly populated beaches that still exists in Mexico . It is a one kilometer long beautiful sanded beach with a small low jungle valley. Surrounded by a long hill at the back and only 10 minutes walk from the ecotouristic town called Mazunte.
From Mermejita beach you can still observe dolphins and whales in their natural environment and if you are lucky you might just see sea turtles laying their eggs at night.

The house is a charming cottage structurally built with solid materials and natural ones. The roof, called a palapa, is built using palm leafs and wood, which help the whole structure harmonize with its surroundings and keep fresh inside.
It has a kitchen, with a gas stove, prep wooden counter, solar fridge service to share with a other guest, separate room, Recently we have added a solar system power supply so there is some power for bulbs and mobile phones recharging . Outside the kitchen is the terrace with a natural stone floor you can use it as dinning room sorrounded by the garden which little by litlle I ve been making beautiful.
The upper part of the cottage, the best view in the house, great to do your practic or just to chill, you can see the beach and a wide sky from there, sorrounded by vegetation. It gives u a feeling of being in a tree house. It can be used as a resting area or as a dinning area the breeze of the ocean keeps it cool and fresh, observe the wild of the land.

The beach of course is public, but very often it remains isolated for many hours, this beach is well know for its astonishing sunsets, more and more poeple come here to watch La Puesta
