Located in Kings Bromley with good access to motorways, Many local attractions, walks, country pubs, canal side cafe. Only two miles from the National Memorial Arboretum, many other attractions with easy commutable travel Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Derby dales, Uttoxeter races, golf courses and much more.

Amenities all great, (plenty of parking, washing machine, dishwasher, hot pressure showers, games and the hot tub was amazing!) but the finish of the property and attention to detail was lacking. On the surface, everything looked very lovely but sofas were uncomfortable and lumpy, duvets were poor quality and ripped, under the beds had clearly not been cleaned vacuumed, broken furniture, no doormats inside the property so if wet, all of that gets dragged inside. Property sleeps 6 (plus sofa bed) but there weren't enough water or wine glasses for that many people.Comms from the host weren't great either - check-in details were supposed to be sent 3 days before but it was less than 24hrs before I got them. I had to chase for a response to messages, which took 3 days on one occasion with no apology (less than a week before check-in)A good, functional property but if you're after a bit of luxury, this isn't it (other than the hot tub, which was perfect and I would give it 5* alone!)

Unfortunately our stay here was not anywhere near what expected. Upon arrival there was no gate to secure the front garden which was the only access to stop our dogs getting out which led onto a main 50mph road. The hot tub was cold and did not heat up until the following day which we only stayed for 2 nights so lost a full evening to be able to use this, when we did use the hot tub it had sand all in the bottom and clumps of hair in it. The internet was not connecting to the tele so i had to use my phone. I messaged the host to ask about the hot tub and gate and never got a response, have taken photos of all of this.

Family wedding stay

Accommodation good overall although we were a little disappointed to need to switch to this property some time after booking as next door property was undergoing building works so less flexibility bathroom and bedroom wise for our party. Property was clean with good range of kitchen appliances and utensils. Property is close to a busy road so noisy at night. If you are travelling to Alrewas Hayes wedding venue you would definitely need to drive or take a taxi rather than walk. Communication with the owner was prompt and informative.

3 night getaway

Good size, loved to tea coffee draw, Sofas a bit uncomfortable, and pillows are poor quality, But I would stay again if I was in the area.

Great Accommodation

Lovely clean property, the children really enjoyed the games. We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area.

Relaxing Stay

Just what we needed!! A relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage with the bonus of a fabulous private hot tub. Bed a little too soft for us & maybe some upgraded pillows & duvets however the rest of the property was immaculate. A spacious kitchen diner, lounge/games room & lovely en-suite & bathrooms. Thank you for ticking our boxes - we will be back soon ❀

Great stay for wedding

We booked the property as a family of six for a wedding at a very nearby venue. It was ideal. The property was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of parking space for all of us. It was great having three double bedrooms and we loved the kitchen dining area. The lounge had plenty of seating and fun games in it. The lollipop stand was very impressive! If it had been warm weather we could have used the great outdoor bbq area. The hot tub was a lovely addition and nice to relax in. The cottage was warm and the showers were good. There was a washer-dryer and a dishwasher with products provided which we thought was excellent. A review somewhere mentions the building work going on next door, which there is, but this was not an issue for us. There are a couple of things that could do with looking at- loose kitchen tap/en-suite loo seat/ stair rail. A few more cereal bowls would be useful as would some clingfilm or foil. We didn’t manage to get the tvs working, again mentioned in a review elsewhere. However none of this detracted from a really enjoyable stay. Thanks to the hosts!

Friends get away

Had a fantastic stay. Made use of the garden and hot tub. The covered garden seating area was large and perfect for evening drinks and getting out of the sun. Hot tub area was very private and was easy to work. Location was perfect and we found the property easy. House was very big and modern. Bedrooms where large with comfortable double beds however we couldn't gets the channels on the t.v's to work. Loved the tea drawer full of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The only slight issue was stained bedding in the master bedroom and the shower in the en-suite needed unblocking. I did speak to the host regarding a plug socket that we didn't use in the middle bedroom as it had come away from the wall. He was lovely and obviously wasn't aware of it at the time. Communication was excellent with the host and easy check in instructions provided. Will recommend and will definitely book again.

Great weekend stay!

Good location for attending a wedding in Lichfield. Facilities good, comfy beds and a garden room which was not featured in the property photos, but was great for socialising on a summer's night.
