But Clapham is not just a party-hot spot, it’s also a wonderfully pretty south London neighbourhood, with pristine Georgian-era townhouses, cosy pubs and lush stretches of greenery. The vast expanse of Clapham Common is a favourite spot for locals to lounge in the summer months, and several fabulous brunch spots skirt the out-edges of the Common,: try The Jam Tree or Metro Garden if you’re feeling peckish.
