The Graythwaite Home Farm Courtyard truly is the beating heart of the Estate – accessed via the iconic and enchanting trail bordered with cheery blossom trees, you are truly entering a very special place.
• Less than a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere where you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake without the hustle and bustle, or even book in an action-packed activity with the star-studded Graythwaite Adventure.
• Access to the communal heated swimming pool which can be booked in advance of your stay.

Lovely stay in a scenic place!

Great location, lovely cottage, good facilities on site (though the weather was so good we didn’t take advantage of them as much as we might have done!).

Glad to be back for our 10th visit to the Graythwaite Estate

It was very quiet around the courtyard this year with only a few cottages filled. Jubilee cottage was clean when we arrived and any issues we had were dealt with swiftly. We will be back next year .

A lovely stay in a beautiful location

We had a great weekend in a cottage on the Graythwaite Estate whilst we were guests at a wedding, also on the Estate. The cottage had comfortable beds and plenty of space. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped. It was lovely to have other cottages nearby with family staying in them too and to be able to go for walks around the Estate.. A bonus was the indoor swimming pool. The only downside was the fact that the farm shop was not open when we all arrived on the Friday afternoon, despite opening hours on the website saying that it would be and which some guests had been relying on. However, overall it was an excellent place to stay, particularly as it was only 20 minutes walk to the wedding venue. Thank you
