Why they chose this property
This farm has been in our family since the 1960’s. My mother, an antique collector, lovingly gathered historic architectural pieces which contribute to the warm character of the home. Our family was raised here and made wonderful memories both in the house and on the stunning property. Now that all my kids are grown, I'd like to share the magic of Deerwood with others!
What makes this property unique
We have 151 acres of land with the home facing the private lake, a gorgeous 5 bedroom farmhouse, 2 lakes, and 3 miles of trails. Although our property makes you feel like you are completely secluded, it is located just 2.5 miles from downtown Starkville, a lively college town. In addition to MSU, Starkville has shops, restaurants, and cultural activities that your while family will enjoy!
