Farmhouse, 340 sq. m. with an exclusive swimming pool, divided into two separate units, for up to 10 persons in three double bedrooms and two bedrooms with two beds, 3 bathrooms plus a guest bathroom. Guests will find two living rooms with a dining area, 2 fully-equipped kitchens, 2 carefully furnished living rooms with satellite TV and working fireplace, and a furnished tavern. The outdoor area features a fenced garden on two levels, a loggia with a table, a wood-burning stove and a stonework barbecue. The property also has wifi (even by the pool), a ceiling fan in one of the first floor bedrooms, a baby bed, a highchair and parking within the property.

Outdoors and swimming pool
On a hillside in the Casentino area, Casale La Toscanella is immersed in oak woods. The 10,000 sq. m. garden surrounds the house and is full of well-kept flowers, bushes and tall trees, as well as being fully enclosed by a wooden fence and natural bushes. On the same level of the house there is the large furnished portico for outdoor meals, a stonework barbecue, a wood-burning oven, an outdoor living room with comfy sunbeds and table tennis, while just underneath there is the brand new in-ground swimming pool, 8 metres by 4 with a depth of 1.4 m, complete with sunbeds and two large beach umbrellas, an outdoor shower and a gazebo with a small bar fridge. The entire outdoor area is well-kept and maintained. There is also a covered parking area within the property.Interior
The farmhouse, made up of two separate apartments, has been restored with modern refinements while maintaining classic touches. The electric and water works have recently been installed. The ground floor of the larger apartment (210 sq. m.) features a spacious living room with comfy sofas, a satellite TV and a working fireplace. On the right there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, and a washing machine, iron and ironing board; on the left of the entrance there is the large, well-equipped kitchen. From here you can reach the bright tavern with a spacious table in front of the large window with a view of the garden, comfortable sofas, a working fireplace and access to the rear of the farmhouse with its stonework barbecue and wood-burning stove.
From the entrance, an indoor staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom with ceiling fan, one bedroom with two beds, and one bathroom with bathtub and shower cubicle.
The second apartment (130 sq. m.) is separate but not far from the first. Here there is a large living room with sofas, satellite TV, a working fireplace and glass table, a well-equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom. From here, an indoor staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds, plus a bathroom with bathtub and shower cubicle.

Location
Casale La Toscanella is close to the hamlet Raggiolo. It enjoys a great panoramic view over the surrounding Casentino's coutryside. The area is quiet and private, perfect for sport and nature lovers as well as for those looking to relax.

Services
The price includes bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen as well as swimming towels (all changed weekly), water, electricity, gas (heating not included), internet, highchair and baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for at the property: hired help, a cook, cookery courses, babysitter.

Important information
The swimming pool is available from May 1st to September 30th. Small animals are permitted (50 euro/week), but are not allowed in the pool area.
Activities and Distances
We are close to Raggiolo, declared one of Italy’s most beautiful hamlets in 2015, a small ancient town on the side of the Pratomagno hill, between Casentino and Valdarno. Raggiolo is the union of two towns which date back to the VII-VIII Century. The town, which can only be visited on foot, is the ideal place to rediscover the Tuscan-Emilian Appennine Middle Ages. The hamlet provides a warm welcome without leaving its authenticity behind. Raggiolo also features many farming and pastoral traditions, preserved and remembered by the Museo della Castagna (the chestnut museum).
We suggest visiting the church of San Michele and the nearby Chiusi Della Verna, a place for meditation and self-reflection, as well as Bibbiena, a great starting point for excursions into the Foreste Casentinesi national park, one of Europe’s most untouched forest areas, a true oasis of nature and silence between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.
