Our chic room provide the perfect place to relax. The room offers modern luxury with East London charm featuring a calming yet elegant colour scheme. The room features a king-sized bed with luxury sateen bedsheets, single sofa bed, a smart TV, hair dryer, free standing bath, in-house MAP Lab bottled cocktails (available on request) as well as toiletries by Cole and Lewis, providing the ultimate place to escape and unwind the hustle and bustle of East London.
Located in Haggerston which is nestled between Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston, De Beauvoir and Islington. The beautiful Regent's Canal is just around the corner - perfect for long walks or running. Easy access to Broadway Market, Victoria Park, Islington and The City of London. Haggerston Station is on the Overground train line and Elizabeth Line and Liverpool Street Station can be easily reached. With Elizabeth line you can reach Heathrow Airport in 55min.
The property is just opposite a Tesco Express (grocery shop), a small convenience store, Haggerston Station, a few parks with playgrounds, lots of bars, cafes, delis and restaurants.

Not great, I’m afraid. The main lights didn’t work, the water supply was sporadic and I think the bath must have only been for show, as the fittings were loose and the water trickled out, making it useless. No overhead shower, just a hand shower, which we just about coped with as we were thankfully only there for one night.There was a kettle and coffee maker but no milk or sugar. The one thing in its favour was that it was clean - they obviously have a good cleaner. I’d rather have stayed in one of the better-known budget hotels, where you know what to expect.To sum up: far too expensive for what it delivers, depressing and poor overall.

A nice stay for a short amount of time but extended stays are iffy. It was difficult to get a hold of the vrbo owners (though that could have been an issue with the app itself) and certain ameneties/appliances which were listed were not available. Had communication been clearer and more prompt, it probably wouldn't have been so difficult. But again, not a bad stay if you are only staying for a week or less.

Amazing stay!

Wonderful property. Wonderful host. The only thing that wasn't as expected was the King sized bed. More of a Queen sized. Other than that the stay was amazing

La Bibliothèque is a restaurant at its core, blending modern luxury with a touch of East London charm, offering a creative menu with Mediterranean and Japanese influences.

Our sister venue, MAP Maison (www.mapmaison.com) is a sophisticated cocktail bar with a premium range of spirits and a meticulous blend of art, music, design, food and drinks. Located just two doors down from La Bibliothèque.

We also have a cocktail and whisky bar in Stockholm, Sweden called MAP Petite Maison (www.mapetitemaison.se). It has the largest selection of Japanese whiskies in Sweden, special relationships with whisky distilleries including the likes of the Macallan and international flare. Located on Vasagatan in central Stockholm it has managed to create a feeling of home and exclusiveness all in one place.
