Dog Friendly.
Apartment 6 is tucked towards the back of Westpoint Apartments on the ground floor. It does not have a sea view but is steps from the seafront. There is an ample living/dining room with 43" Smart TV and DVD player. The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. There is an outside patio area with seating and recliners which faces west and enjoys the afternoon sun until sunset. There is outside seating and access to the communal gardens surrounding Westpoint.
Bedroom one contains a double bed. Bedroom two contains a combination of two sets of bunkbeds. . The apartment can sleep 5 people across the 2 bedrooms in individual beds or 6 if the double bed is shared.
There is a fully equipped L-shaped kitchen including large oven, quadruple hob, microwave and fridge freezer. The bathroom provide shower, wash-hand basin and WC.
The lounge is found at the centre of the apartment and provides comfortable smart seating and the latest in 43" LCD entertainment.
Apartment 6 is compact for large groups but suits if you need a base for exploring the Jurassic Coast

Our property is ideally situated directly opposite West Beach on the renowned Jurassic Coast, offering immediate access to the scenic South West Coast Path just steps from the sea. We believe a great stay depends on three key factors: an excellent location, impeccable cleanliness, and our dedicated assistance with any guest needs that may arise.
During the summer months, you can enjoy refreshments and light bites at the onsite West Beach Café Bar. Each apartment includes a designated parking space free of charge, and we also offer a limited number of dog-friendly accommodations for guests wishing to bring their pets.
Our accommodation options include three double rooms, two one-bedroom apartments, two two-bedroom apartments, and The Studio—a cosy double room with a small kitchenette. Please note that The Studio, Apartment 2, Rooms 1 and 3 do not allow pets, while Apartments 5, 6, and 7 are pet-friendly. If you plan to bring your dog, kindly inform us in advance.
Please be aware that due to the sea defences, the estate is not accessible for guests with mobility disabilities. We look forward to welcoming you to Westpoint and ensuring you have an enjoyable stay. We strongly recommend securing holiday cancellation insurance, especially as travel guidelines can change frequently, with options starting at around GBP 20.

Built in the 1960's, Westpoint was originally a large public house. Both Westpoint and the Old Shipyard Estate it sits on were originally a ship building site.
Westpoint itself has high ceilings and a collection of seven very different apartments and rooms. From the positively microscopic (The Studio) to Rooms 1 and 3 and Apartment 2 with their unparalleled sea views from the ensuite double bedrooms and all those in-between. We love each and every one of them and our returning guests have their favourites.
We moved to the Jurassic Coast with our young family over a decade ago. The best decisions we ever made. Our love for the landscape, the sea, the cawing seagulls, beers on the beach at sunset, spotting the wildlife, boat rides, the markets, the bohemia and the sea air! The Dorset attitude is more Mediterranean in many respects – we certainly enjoy a slower pace of life down here that’s for sure (or at least we try)! Running Westpoint is a joy and we have many guests that return year after year who we now consider friends. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love of the area with you. Tracey
