Three Bedroom Lodge with Hot Tub and Log Fire | Maes-Artro-Lodge
Situated near the North West coast of Wales, Maes Artro Lodge is a stunning three bedroom lodge with hot tub and log fire, ideal for large families, groups or a couple wanting to explore this beautiful area. Located in a small lodge park near the village of Llanbedr, the two storey cedar wood log cabin features a host of amenities making it the perfect hub to explore North Wales' Cardigan Bay.
Appearing rustic in style to the exterior, the lodge interior is beautifully decorated in a modern style creating a contemporary and cosy feel. The lodge can be accessed by two entrances - via a set of steps onto a veranda to the front aspect, or via a ramp at the rear of the property. Entering via the ramp access, the doorway leads into a large utility room which is the perfect place to kick off muddy boots or sandy flip flops before heading into the main living area. A doorway from the utility room leads into the lodge's downstairs family bathroom, which includes a sink, WC and bath with overhead shower. A second door from the utility room leads into a large social open plan living space and a separate ground floor double bedroom, which includes pine furniture comprising of a double bed, dressing table, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, large wardrobe and storage chest.
A modern kitchen with wood effect units and granite effect worktop provides ample preparation and storage space for guests wanting to cook during their stay. The kitchen features a dishwasher, an electric hob and built in oven at eye level, alongside a kettle, toaster, microwave and French press cafetière. Additionally, the kitchen features a beautiful traditional Welsh dresser with additional storage cupboards. The kitchen leads through to a bright and cosy living space. A large solid wood dining table seats six people comfortably in the dining area. The social living space is decorated in neutral colours with large windows and patio doors, allowing natural light to flood in. Soft furnishings are in subtle greys and yellows. Coastal artwork and photography is dotted around on the walls - a nod to the stunning setting of Cardigan Bay. The lounge area includes two large and comfy leather sofas, a comfy chair, a leather stool and chunky coffee table with an additional nest of tables. The spotlights in the ceiling provide great lighting, but there are lamps dotted around for a more cosy feel. To the corner of the lounge area, next to a large LED Smart TV, a cosy log burner provides warmth and atmosphere to the space.
The patio doors from the lounge area open out to a spacious covered decked veranda overlooking the communal grounds of the lodge park. To one side, comfy rattan sofas and a coffee table are the ideal spot for relaxing in the summer evenings with drinks as the sun sets. The opposite side of the deck includes an outdoor dining table and chairs, providing alternative dining options and the ideal place for breakfast or morning coffee in the sun. Steps down from the veranda lead to the property's car parking spaces and a pathway leads to the rear of the lodge to a private fenced area, which includes a large hot tub where guests can soak and relax privately in the evening looking up at the starry skies.
A stairway leads from the lounge area to the first floor of the three bedroom lodge with hot tub and log fire, featuring two bedrooms - both with en-suite shower rooms. The family bedroom at the rear of the lodge includes a leather framed double bed, a single bed and cot, making this the ideal bedroom for families with small children and babies or 2 adults making use of the separate beds. Two bedside cabinets, two chests of drawers and a large wardrobe painted in white provide a substantial amount of storage required for travelling with small children. The décor theme again is neutral with soft furnishings providing splashes of yellow and grey, continuing the theme from downstairs. The en-suite shower room includes a walk in corner shower cubicle, WC, basin and storage unit. The front bedroom includes a pine double bed, bedside tables and a number of chests providing ample storage. The en-suite also includes a walk in corner shower cubicle, WC, basin and storage unit. A double patio door opens from the front bedroom onto a covered balcony which includes a table and chairs, where guests can sit out overlooking the surrounding woodland.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
The location of Maes Artro Lodge is ideal for for lovers of coastal holidays and those wanting to explore the mountains, alongside the history and heritage of the area. Located on a small lodge park surrounded by woodland, the pretty village of Llanbedr is only a short walk away offering shops, dining options and mountain bike hire. A short drive, or slightly longer walk of a couple of miles, leads to the Wales Coast Path at the Morfa Dyffryn National Nature Reserve with its wild and wonderful golden sandy beaches and spectacular sand dunes. Heading inland, the Rhinogydd mountain range is only a short distance away with a number of walking routes to the peaks of Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach. Less popular than the busier sections of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), these landscapes are wonderful to explore away from the crowds.
A ten minute drive North leads to the gorgeous town of Harlech with its pretty courtyards, independent shops and cafes. The main landmark, the imposing thirteenth century Harlech Castle, stands atop a rocky outcrop in the town with epic views of Bae Ceredigion (Cardigan Bay) and the peaks of Snowdonia National Park. Harlech's stunning expanse of sandy beach is one of the best in Wales, and shouldn't be missed on a trip to the town. Keen golfers can also visit the popular Royal St. David's Gold Club, flanked between the town and sand dunes with spectacular Snowdonia views.
Heading south from the three bedroom lodge with hot tub and log fire, the popular seaside holiday resort of Barmouth is only a fifteen minute drive away. The location where the mountains meet the sea, Barmouth sits on the edge of the Mawddach Estuary and the harbour offers spectacular mountain backdrop beyond the famous Grade II listed railway viaduct - the longest timber viaduct in Wales and one of the oldest in Britain. There are some great walks than can be taken from Barmouth including the Mawddach Trail which heads inland along an old railway line route towards Dolgellau.
