Incredible views

We stayed for a couple of nights to do some hiking in Cirque de Gavarnie. Very nice accommodations, beautiful view over looking Gédre. Host was very friendly and accessible.

Well-equipped, spotlessly clean, beautiful view. Well-located to drive to Gavarnie and other villages in the area (it is in Gedre but it is not a short walk to the village: narrow, steep road up). Nice outdoor sitting area. Very pleasant host. No wifi but good mobile service.

Fantastic location, friendly owners

The property is well located on the hillside in Gedre with fantastic views over the village and valley. The owners, who live in the same property, were very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions before arrival. Although the kitchen/diner/lounge area is very small, the kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine. It was a very comfortable stay for 2 adults and 3 children.

Excellent location!! Kitchen and dining room rather small (doubled as living room as well) and little out-dated but had everything needed. very friendly, helpful host (lives on 1st floor), groundfloor separated in 2 rental spaces so is sharded with other family but no complaints whatsoever.

Super welcome and stunning views

Comfortable property, thoughtfully and well-equipped with good modern kitchen appliances. There is a small garden for use of the guests with superb views over the village of Gèdre and the surrounding mountains. It is a short drive down the mountain to the village for restaurants, but it is a small price to pay for the amazing views and tranquility. The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming, available for all information and queries but also respectful of our privacy. There is lots to do in the area, amazing walks, drives, wildlife and visits. The gîte is perhaps a little old-fashioned in decor, but clean and comfortable, and entirely adequate for our stay. We would definitely return! Thank you.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt beiChristine und Philipp,die uns sehr freundlich empfangen haben und während der 7 Tage sehr nett in den Begegnungen waren,die Lage der Wohnung hoch oben über Gavernie Gedre mit einem außergewöhnlichenBlick von der grossen Terrasse in die Berge war großartig, die Wohnung war sehr sauber,sie vefügte über mehr als das notwendige,das Bett war sehr bequem,das Badezimmer Top.Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war damit ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit .

Très beau séjour avec superbe vue depuis depuis le jardin et cadre très calme. Très bon séjour en famille

Nous avons passé 1 semaine en février dans les 2 appartements de Christine et son mari en famille. Les propriétaires sont adorables, avant et pendant le séjour, nous avons eu toutes les informations pour passer un bon séjour. La maison est très bien située en hauteur avec vue sur les montagnes, à 20 min de la station de Gavarnie , 2 min de Gedre et 10 min du village de Gavarnie. Les 2 appartements sont très bien équipés, nous avons essentiellement pris les repas dans le 6 personnes qui est spacieux avec une cuisine bien équipée (A noter 2 appareils à raclette!) Le jardin est clos et nos enfants ont adoré passé du temps dehors. Literie très bonne dans les 2 appartements. Une adresse à retenir sans hésiter pour un prochain séjour à Gavarnie!

Belles vacances dans les Hautes Pyrénées

Superbe séjour

Nous remercions Christine ainsi que son époux pour leur accueil chaleureux, pour leurs conseils sur les randonnées et visites aux alentours ! Le gîte est parfaitement bien situé sur le plan géographique pour faire cirque de gavarnie, d estaube et troumousse sans faire trop de trajet en voiture. Nous en avons profité pour aller du côté de cauteret pour lac de gaube et pont Espagne… semaine bien remplie avec de jolis paysages Le gîte, situé en hauteur du village, était parfait pour accueillir notre famille avec trois enfants. Celui ci est très bien équipé. Superbe vue sur les montagnes du jardin Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
