Angel Cottage 5 mins drive to Alton Towers
Angel Cottage is a charming stone-built house in the beautiful village of Alton, just five minutes from Alton Towers!
This stylishly renovated cottage has four bedrooms, newly-installed kitchen & bathrooms and an enclosed garden backed by trees. With wide-screen TV, Wifi and on-street parking it’s a great place to relax after a day’s adventures
Nearby you’ll find a variety of popular pubs, restaurants and beautiful country walks, making it ideal for thrill-seekers & Peak District explorers
Angel Cottage is a period stone property with feature windows and wooden blinds, beautifully renovated to retain its character. With four comfortable bedrooms there’s space for up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families and groups of friends.
The property is in a quiet village area therefore we ask that there isn’t any loud noise after 9pm. We do have noise monitoring devices in place to help ensure that guests and neighbours have a positive experience.
The spacious living room has a 55 inch 4K Samsung TV, stone flooring and comfortable seating which converts/converting into a double sofa bed. There’s a small pool table, books and board games, making this a great space to relax and unwind.
The airy newly-installed kitchen has high-spec Bosch appliances (double oven, hob and dishwasher) and a large freestanding fridge. It leads into the conservatory dining area with generous seating around a large farmer’s table.
The conservatory opens onto a spacious balcony with raised decking and a relaxing woodland view. From here a staircase leads to the enclosed garden. Beyond the garden gate is private footpath which is only for fire exit purposes.
The master bedroom and second bedroom have double beds, the third a small double and the fourth has bunk beds. There are two new and stylish downstairs bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and the second with a full size walk-in shower.
The village of Alton is picturesque and peaceful with its own neo-Gothic castle built by Pugin! You’ll find plenty pubs, restaurants, takeaways and cafés in Alton, Rocester and the pretty villages nearby. Alton has The Bull’s Head and Bridge House Restaurant, the Tavern in Denstone is 2.2 miles and Rocester offers a wide choice of well-reviewed restaurants, 3.9 miles, 9 minutes drive.
Alton Towers Resort, Waterpark and gardens ‒ England’s largest theme park with 40 rides and attractions including Oblivion, Smiler, Nemesis, Forbidden Valley, Dark Forest, the new Curse of Alton Manor and CBeebies Land, five minutes’ drive away!
Dimmingsdale ‒ spectacular scenery, haven for wildlife and ramblers with award-winning Ramblers Retreat tearoom, five minutes drive, 1.4 miles
JCB World ‒ factory tour and museum celebrating the world famous diggers plus waterfowl lakes, 7 minutes drive, 3.2 miles

Guests are welcome to use the whole house but please don’t go into the attic. The fireplace is not in use.
Pets are welcome but should not be left unattended
The footpath behind the garden is private access and is only for emergency use.
