Discover comfort in our accommodation featuring 3 double bedrooms, with one conveniently situated on the ground floor. The shared modern bathroom ensures convenience, while the ground floor bedroom offers a private toilet and basin within the room. This traditional stone built cottage sleeps up to 6 guests.

Unwind in the stunning kitchen/diner, complete with modern fitted units and appliances. The cosy lounge welcomes you with an impressive stone fireplace and a log burner, creating a warm ambiance. Step outside to the inviting seating area.

Perfectly located in the heart of the village, this accommodation provides easy access to numerous walks from your doorstep. Ideal for families and friends, it is both dog and cycle friendly. Moreover, appreciate the artistic touch, as all pictures painted in the cottage are by Ali Cotton Art. This property is dog friendly and we charge £30 per dog for the duration of the stay.

The property is immaculate and furnished to a really high standard. The kitchen is well stocked and there was a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival.All of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and there is a nice outside area with seating.Anna was a great host and I would definitely return to this property in the future.

Lovely cottage

The cottage was very well equipped, the kitchen was very modern and easy to use, it had a great bathroom and was very spacious upstairs. The lounge was cosy and we had a fire one evening when it was a bit cooler. All in all I would recommend the cottage and the area.

Few days in Peak District

The property was beautiful with excellent fixtures and fittings. The kitchen had lots of crockery and cooking utensils and the wood burning stove was a lovely addition, great for cool autumn evenings. Would highly recommend

Christmas break

A relaxing Christmas break, in a lovely stone cottage. Well equipped kitchen & cosy evenings with log burner! Appreciated the Christmas decorations that had been added too

Beautiful cottage

Very well renovated, cosy cottage with lots of nice original features. Some interesting walks from the village but other than that not much there to do. But short drives (about 30 mins) to many lovely places to visit. Great communication from owner. Upstairs bedrooms very luxurious but downstairs bedroom a bit cramped. Really lovely welcome basket.

We took the advertising of Red Lion Yard over in 2023 as we saw the potential of the property being the perfect bolthole for smaller groups wishing to explore the Peak District.

The property is Grade II listed and has lots of traditional features such as the large stone fireplaces. All the art work in the cottage is done by local artist Ali Cotton.
