Welcome to Casa Rural Filo!

Located in Plasenzuela (Cáceres), in the heart of Extremadura’s “Golden Triangle.” Our location is privileged: just 15 minutes from Trujillo, 30 minutes from Cáceres (a UNESCO World Heritage City), and 35 minutes from Mérida. Additionally, Monfragüe National Park is within close reach, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers.

This charming 950 m² house, distributed over two floors, offers a comfortable and cozy space for your stay. The property follows sustainable practices.

Upon entering, you will find a rural-style space, fully furnished and inviting. The living room features a comfortable seating area where guests can relax after a long day of exploring the area, as well as a TV to enjoy your favorite shows.

The kitchen offers an ideal atmosphere for socializing and enjoying meals together. It is equipped with essential cookware and cutlery to satisfy all your culinary needs and prepare delicious dishes.

The house features five bedrooms in total. One is located on the ground floor, while the others are on the upper floor. Two bedrooms have two single beds each; the other three feature one double bed each. All are equipped with quality linens to ensure a restful sleep, along with ample storage space.

Suitable for Remote Work and Digital Nomads: High-speed 4G/5G Wi-Fi (fiber), a comfortable workspace (desk and chair), and easily accessible power outlets.

A Birdwatching Paradise: We are the ideal base camp for ornithological tourism. Monfragüe National Park, a world sanctuary for birds of prey, is located nearby, making our house a preferred destination for nature lovers and bird photography enthusiasts.

The bathrooms include all the necessary amenities to freshen up, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries.

The house is professionally cleaned to ensure your comfort.

You can feel like a time traveller walking along its narrow, cobbled streets. Surrounded by mansions, Renaissance palaces and churches crowned by storks' nests, you'll understand why Cáceres is a World Heritage City. Get your camera ready to immortalise one of Spain's prettiest historic town centres.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Public Transport: To facilitate the arrival of guests without their own vehicle, please include that it is possible to reach the house in the following way:

By Bus: There is a direct line from Cáceres Bus Station to Plasenzuela (operated by the Solís company), with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes.

Train/Bus Combination: Long-distance travelers (from Madrid or Seville) can take the Alvia or Media Distancia train to Cáceres and, from there, take the aforementioned bus or a taxi (approx. 25-30 min).

Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 2 hours and 50 minutes from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 p.m.).

We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
