This was the most horrendous place I have ever ever been too. We left immediately this was not bearable to stay in. DO NOT go here! It was full of dirt and cobwebs everywhere. There were spider all over the bedding the bedding had not been changed it was filthy! Kitchen area gas cooker had marks also cobwebs all around the kitchen area too this was a disgusting place and should not be advertised at all especially the false advertisement. We had to find another place immediately. It gave me an allergic reaction due to the lack of hygiene and the amount of dirt. The host thinks the hygiene levels are fine and that cobwebs are there due to the area. Cobwebs are there due to dust the place has not been cleaned for god knows how long! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING HERE

Dear Kiran,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that The Old Forge did not meet your expectations.
We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, as our other reviews and repeat guests from various booking channels can attest to this.
The lovely ladies who clean after each guest have left spend hours during the change over ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met. I personally inspect the property before each new guest arrives and take pictures for my records, which upon this occasion i have submitted to Vrbo as the review has left me quite puzzled and upset.
From time to time there may be a cobweb or two, especially if there had been a couple of days after cleaning before new guests arrive. This is nature and there is only so much we can do regarding this. Cobwebs are present due to spiders but certainly not because of the presence of dust.
We always take guests feedback very seriously and address any potential problems that may arise in order to ensure that future guests continue to have a positive experience.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced and thank you for your feedback.
Kind regards,
Tom
