Villa Domaine du Midi is a grand, fully restored farmhouse located in the grounds of a working winery. Retaining many original features including wonderful high ceilings and spacious rooms, this charming villa offers an authentic taste of France. Outside you’ll find a wonderful private pool and immense lawn area, perfect for enjoying a relaxing dip or some friendly games. A short distance from the villa is the beautiful Canal du Midi where you can enjoy a long or short walk along the water. The town of Capestang is just 5 minutes’ drive away and has a lovely choice of restaurants and a supermarket. WiFi is included.
Villa Domaine du Midi is ideally located less than 30 minutes’ drive from 2 delightful historical cities, Beziers, and Narbonne, with several possibilities for day trips. A short drive or scenic walk through adjacent fields will lead you to the nearest restaurant. The coastal spot of Saint Pierre La Mer is reachable within 45 minutes driving and offers a lovely beach town setting. Under an hour’s drive away, an absolute must to discover is the famous medieval fortified city of Carcassonne. Closer to the villa and for those that enjoy meandering along waterways, the Canal du Midi is just a short distance from the villa with fantastic walking opportunities in both directions.
