Casa Tramontana is a well-maintained family home, built in traditional Catalan style, nestled on a hillside in a tranquil cul-de-sac, offering serene views of the expansive Gavarres hills. The villa is designed on two levels, making it an ideal choice for two families, accommodating 4 guests on each floor. Notable features include a private heated pool (FROM MAY 17 ONWARDS), a secluded garden, a spacious terrace area and a carport.

Recent enhancements to the property include the addition of an air conditioning unit in the Lounge/Dining room, remote control ceiling fans in all bedrooms, and a convenient gas BBQ for outdoor cooking.

The upper floor comprises two bedrooms (a double and a twin), a bathroom, a lounge/dining area with a Bluetooth music player and a modern flat screen TV, and a well-equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The lounge/dining area opens onto a covered terrace with stunning hill views overlooking the swimming pool.

Downstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms (twin and double), a shower room/bathroom, and a pool-accessible utility room equipped with drinks facilities, a bottle-fridge, an additional dishwasher, and a washing machine. This level also leads to the pool and games area, featuring a table tennis table, darts, and an outdoor gas BBQ surrounded by ample seating and attractive gardens. A pool changing/shower room/toilet is conveniently located near the heated swimming pool, along with an outdoor pool shower.

Rest easy with secure off-road parking, including a shaded carport, and enjoy the peace of mind provided by fully enclosed boundaries with fences, hedges, and lockable gates—an ideal setting for families with young children. Casa Tramontana is strategically positioned near excellent golf courses and stunning beaches.

We hebben een top vakantie gehad in Tramuntana! Bij aankomst stond er een heerlijk welkomstpakket klaar, super fijn na een autorit van 16 uur. Onze contactpersoon Vera was altijd goed bereikbaar, als we vragen hadden reageerde ze super snel. Daarnaast is het huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is een rustige omgeving, waar je goed tot rust kan komen. Maar als je naar een stadje of het strand wil ben je er binnen 10 a 15 minuten. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen en het aanraden aan anderen.

Lovely villa with particularly good pool and outside space. Superb beaches (with lots of places to eat) 5mls away. Owner and managing company very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful villa and pool

Was ideal for our extended family with 5 adults and a toddler. The villa has a good split between upstairs and downstairs living quarters and you can come together on the beautiful terrace overlooking the pool and the wooded hills for meals and relaxing. Probably the best welcome pack we've ever had! Ideal location to explore the Costa Brava. Short drive to the beach at Sant Antoni, from there a 45 minute walk along the promenade to Palamos. Or a short drive to the brighter lights of Platja d'Aro. The Dali Theatre and Museum is an hours drive away and France and Perpignan not much further. We can also recommend beautiful Girona if only on the way back to the airport as we did. Peter was great to communicate with and provided good recommendations for car hire. The agents were excellent too and waited for us despite our flight being delayed for an hour. Thoroughly recommended. Don't forget your mozzie spray though!

Nice house, amazing outdoor space

Nice stay with family of 7 adults. Outdoor living was great with very large terrace with stretchers for relaxing, swimming pool, bbq, pingpong table and darts.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Das Haus und der Pool hat uns gut gefallen. Es wäre allerdings von Vorteil, im Wohn- Essraum verdunkelnde Vorhänge anzubringen, da die Sonne da am Nachmittag voll reinscheint und das Haus aufheizt. Wir hatten nur 2 Handtücher pro Person für 2 Wochen. Das war knapp. Geschirrtücher waren gar nicht vorhanden. Wir hatten glücklicherweise von zu Hause Handtücher mitgebracht. Die Auflagen der Gartenmöbel müssen dringend gereinigt werden, da mochten wir nicht drauf sitzen.

We have stayed in many many villas in northeast Spain ...... This had a well designed layout to the villa with the upstairs down stairs element and very private in location, quiet but not too far out. The agents were lovely friendly and helpful as was the owner above and beyond. The villa was well equipped (inside and outside) everything you could need with thoughtful touches (like dishwash tablets, cloths and an amazing welcome pack). The pool was a great size the photos were accurate and importantly all was very clean…………… we felt relaxed straightaway what a place to stay we recommend it highly.

Séjour très agréable. La piscine chauffée a été appréciée par toute la famille. Les fléchettes et le ping pong nous ont bien occupé. Calonge est une jolie petite ville. La seule remarque négative est la route qui de la montée jusqu'à la Villa était très caillouteuse à cause des travaux. L'idéal aurait été d'avoir un 4x4 ! Peut-être à une prochaine fois.

Great Property

Great Property, really well equipped has everything you could need. Lots of different seating areas and great pool. Teenager also enjoyed the swing ball, table tennis and darts. Peter has been fantastic and is really quick to respond to any queries. Husband pressed the panic button by mistake and he was straight on the phone to check everything was ok. We will be back next year.

Familien Sommerurlaub 2022

Wir waren mit der Casa Tramontana sehr zufrieden, unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung, angefangen von den Poolliegen über Küchenutensilien bis Möbel. Es gibt eine obere Küche mit einem großen Wohnsimmer und perfektem Balkon für Frühstück und auch Abendessen. Das Wohnzimmer hat eine Klimaanlage, leider die Schlafräume nicht. Diese haben aber alle einen Deckenventilator. Es gibt unten zum Pool eine weitere kleine Küche und Kühlschrank, man kann Draußen den Gasgrill benutzen und dort am Grill ebenfalls essen und verweilen. Zu den Stränden und Restaurants sind es ca. 10-15 Minuten Fahrt, ein Auto ist natürlich in der ruhigen schönen Randlage erforderlich. Super ist die Tischtennisplatte, die Dartscheibe und der immer beheizte Pool (hier kommt 2 x pro Woche der Poolservice). Sehr genossen haben wir die Uneinsehbarkeit der Terrasse und Poolbereiches. Gute Strände sind Cala de la Fosca (hinter Palamos), Kinder können hier gut an der Seite schnorcheln da flach), besonders naturbelassen und schön mit einem kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz und Fussweg ist der Cala de Castell. Das Restaurant in der umliegende Nachbarschaft Rio de Doro ist sehr zu empfehlen. In St Antoni unten an der Promenade gibt es einige Restaurants, wir waren sehr zufrieden im La Salsa. Auch in Palamos gibt es viele Restaurants und Bars. Wir hatten eine sehr schnelle und gute Kommunikation mit dem Inhaber und auch der Agentur vor Ort, wir können dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen. Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern im Alter von 14 und 17 Jahren vor Ort, inkl. u.a. Ausflüge nach Barcelona, Lloret de Mar und dem botanischen Garten in Blanes (Jardi Botanic Marimurta).

Makkelijk en snel geregeld. Directe communicatie met zowel de verhuurder als het agentschap is prima verlopen. Veel leuke plaatsjes en bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving.

Beautiful villa and amazing views

We absolutely loved our stay at your villa, it was lovely and clean when we arrived. We were met by the agents who were extremely helpful, showed us to the property and explained how everything worked which was great. The heated pool was fab during our stay which was great for the kids when they wanted to jump in the pool at all times. Would definitely recommend and stay again. You should be very proud of your villa!! A****

Tranquil and lovely views

We stayed 4 adults and 3 children for a week i october. The style of the villa and interior is a bit oldschool, but very solid, good quality and well maintained, with everything you need. Also very clean. Being in mid october we hadn’t expected much of the pool, but the heating worked well, and the weather was nice, so we spent a lot of time there, and the kids loved it, in fact we all did. The poolside dart set and the tabletennis where located perfectly, and provided many hours of entertainment for all ages. The villa is located very secluded, and we experienced very tranquile and relaxing days and nights there. Combined with the lovely views of the surrounding forrest and mountins, this alltogether gave us such a relaxing and nice holiday. The villages on the coast are picturesque, and we can highly recommend hiking on parts of the GR92 in that area. Thank you for a very nice vacation!

Vacances de rêve en famille

Nous avons eu du mal à quitter cette maison absolument parfaite pour passer de belles vacances en famille. Tout y est !! Tout est prévu pour que le séjour soit magnifique ! Il ne manque rien que ce soit pour la préparation des repas, pour s’amuser ou pour se détendre. L’équipement de la maison est au top !! Le frigo sur la terrasse de la piscine est un vrai plus , la piscine chauffée , la vue, le calme du quartier tout en ayant tout à proximité…tout est génial. Nous avons adoré ! Il nous tarde d’y retourner !!

Un petit paradis

Magnifique maison au calme mais non loin de nombreuses activités sur la Costa brava. Véhicule indispensable pour se déplacer aux plus proches commodités. La maison dispose de tout se dont nous avions besoin, les ventilateurs dans chaque chambre et la climatisation dans la salle sont très appréciable. La piscine était entre 29 et 32 degrés : un vrai bonheur ! Un endroit au frais pour la voiture bien pensé. Propriété fermée et securisée au calme avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. Nous avons aimé voir l évolution de la propriété au fil des photos. Bravo aux propriétaires pour tout le chemin accompli. Le passage à l agence pour récupérer les clés se fait rapidement à l arrivé . Le seul petit bémol était la présence de fourmi dans la cuisine et dans la salle de bain. Merci pour cette belle semaine.

Het huis is conform de beschrijving, maar de toegangsweg is echt slecht en heeft net zoals het huis een opknapbeurt nodig. De woning en de inrichting zijn gedateerd. Niet alle luiken kunnen meer dicht, de bedden en matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe. Uitzicht is mooi en het zwembad is prettig (verwarmd). Gezien alle positieve recensies hadden we meer verwacht en vonden we de verhouding prijs-kwaliteit niet in orde. Verblijf was ok maar geen aanrader en ook niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Fantastische plek

Heel mooi en charmant domein! Alles is aanwezig voor een aangename vakantie. Ideaal (verwarmd!) zwembad, mooi uitzicht over de heuvels, rustige plek, op vrij korte afstand van strand en stadjes, aangename verhuurder die ons hielp bij problemen. De slechte weg ernaartoe (putten in de baan) moet je er wel even bijnemen. Maar zeker een aanrader.

A relaxing holiday

Very comfortable villa, with lots of features to make your stay more comfortable . The most spectacular views, with a good sized pool and lots of sunbeds and seating - in sun and shade. Close to beaches and great restaurants - car essential. Owner consistently helpful and charming - recommended for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Great stay!

When being on holiday, nice surroundings and quality is important for our family - we love the feeling of "home from home". Everything about the house was great - the very clean swimmingpool, table tennis and dart. All the spots in the garden. The very well maintained house. The view.
