Phenomenal girls trip!

We had the most amazing stay at Claudia’s gorgeous villa. The pool is incredible as are the grounds. The rooms were comfortable, there is no air con and usually I think that would be ok as there are fans in each bedroom and feels much cooler inside. But as we stayed at the height of the European heat wave (39/40degrees) it was very hot overnight. Claudia recommended a local restaurant in the nearby town where we enjoyed a fantastic meal and fabulous hospitality for a fraction of the prices you would pay in Rome. There was also a restaurant around the corner that delivered delicious pizzas to the villa. Claudia also arranged for a chef to cook for us one night which was fantastic. I would recommend hiring a car, the town is only a 6 minute drive away but the road isn’t suitable to walk down. There were 2 decent supermarkets and lots of lovely cafes and it was amazing to walk around the medieval centre. Claudia and her family could not have been more helpful. We would love to come back again!

Wonderful Summer Break

We spent a week at the Villa. We wished it had been longer. Claudia welcomed us and was on hand to help with all queries from food to travel in the area. What a superb host who was kind but never intrusive. The Villa is delightful with everything provided that a large family needed to holiday for a week with grandparents, parents and babies. The real jewel here are the gardens and pool area - an absolute delight. The small town is close by, with a great restaurant very close by. Supermarket etc in the small town. Views surround the property for lovely nights spent sitting outside in a safe gated environment. Very easy to access Sacrofano from the airport. And access to Rome was simple and cheap. The Villa is much nicer than some of the photos may suggest, it's very quaint: the gardens were wonderful with many shaded play and sitting areas. There is no air conditioning but we used fans. We had a wonderful holiday and send many thanks to the lovely Claudia.

What a great venue!!!

What a great venue! Beautiful house with a great view over Rome. Great swimming pool not only for the kids but also for us. Close to Rome and Bracciano for some culture. But most of all great hospitality. We want to thank Claudia, whom was always available for questions and help! The hospitality is of very high level. Thanks for our great holiday!!

Perfect!

Some properties which look good disappoint on arrival. But not this one!! The villa was perfect: great rooms, a large garden, great pool & surround and a lovely BBQ & seating area. Claudia was an excellent host at all times. A toilet flush stopped working on our first full day and, despite being a Sunday, a plumber was there within an hour to fix it. Rome is about 20k away but easily reachable via a 10 minute drive to the (free parking) station and a 1.5 euro train ride. Overall, we could nopt have asked for a better villa or location to enjoy the city and the glorious countryside.

Nette Unterkunft

Für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Rom zu besuchen. Eine schöne Wohnung in guter Lage, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Bahnhof in ca 5km Entfernung, gute Zugverbindung in die Innenstadt. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern ca. 1 1/2 Wochen hier und haben es sehr genossen.

Perfect holiday!!!

To be hosted be Claudia and her team was absolutely amazing. We spend a great time in her house. The place and the view to Rome are incredible. Claudia cared for us and gave us a lot of information too. Thanks a lot, we will come back again (like a lot of guests;))

Ottima posizione e struttura

Bellissima villa, ottima piscina, vista spettacolare. Consiglio però di chiarire meglio i due appartamenti perché non era chiaro dalle foto quale appartamento fosse quello in oggetto. Per noi è andato bene anche se eravamo convinti di andare nell'altro

Très agréable

Nous sommes très satisfaits de manière générale. L’accueil a été vraiment parfait. La seule petite remarque est l’absence de climatiseur dans le logement alors qu’il était repris dans l’annonce. Nous avons eu un ventilateur pour la chambre des enfants. À recommander malgré cette remarque. Le cadre autour du logement est magnifique.

Wundervolle Urlaubstage - Entspannung für die ganze Familie

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in Claudias Villa in Sacrofano genossen. Das weitläufige Haus, die schattigen Terrassen, der riesige, gepflegte Garten und der Pool sind eine Augenweide und Claudias Gastfreundfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft sind unbeschreiblich: Früchte und gekühlte Getränke zur Begrüßung, Wein für laue Sommerabende und echte italienische Pasta bei Sonnenuntergang, Tipps bei allen Fragen.... Herz, was willst du mehr? Der Pool ist großartig zur Abkühlung und Entspannung nach interessanten Tagen in Rom. Ein toller Ort für die ganze Familie. Séjour inoubliable à côté de Rome

Nous venons de passer un séjour magnifique dans cette belle propriété ! L'endroit est paradisiaque, Claudia et Michaella sont très accueillantes et charmantes. La maison est très belle et spacieuse et la piscine est très grande. Nous nous souviendrons longtemps de ces magnifiques semaines passées à Sacrofano situé pas loin de Rome où nous avons fait de nombreuses visites. Mille mercis Claudia et Michaella !

Tolle italienische Gastfreundlichkeit!!

Wir haben im heißen August unseren Aufenthalt in dem sehr schönen, klimatisierten Appartment und dem tollen Garten mit herrlichem Pool genossen. Die Gastfreundlichkeit war sehr herzlich. So fanden wir bei Ankunft einen mit Wasser und Obst gefüllten Kühlschrank vor und die Haushälterin hatte einen leckeren Schokokuchen für uns gebacken. So was findet man nur in Italien! Claudia wohnt in Rom, ist aber fast täglich vor Ort und immer ansprechbar. Wir haben gute Tipps für unseren Rombesuch bekommen. Obwohl das Appartment sich den Garten und den Pool mit den anderen Gästen der Villa teilt, hatten wir immer genug Privatsphäre. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf Rom ist insbesondere am Abend sehr schön.

Peaceful view to Rome and St. Peters

Accommodating, helpful and flexible are some of the words that characterise Claudia and her team. The apartment and the surroundings fully lived up to our expectations with tranquility and a view to St. Peters cathedral in Rome from our terrace at ground level. The train from Montebello (8 km) made travelling to Rome easy delivering you at Flaminio next to the metro station. Sacrofano (3 km) offers two supermarkets which fulfilled our need for daily grocery. A perfect starting point for exploring Rome and surroundings, if you want a quiet alternative to staying in Rome. A place and people I would love to visit again. Special thanks to Claudia and Michela (sorry if I spell it wrong ;-) for making our stay memorable :-)

La Dolce Vita

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans la villa de Claudia. Située à environ 20 minutes du périphérique de Rome et à 30 minutes du centre ville (en voiture), l'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la capitale italienne et ses alentours. Notre logement était très pratique et bien équipé, même pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants. Nous retiendrons également l'accueil très chaleureux de Claudia et de sa famille qui nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Bref une adresse à retenir et à conseiller sans hésiter. Grazzie Mille Claudia!

très bonne location, super vacances

Claudia est très gentille et serviable, sa maison est très belle et agréable, et la piscine a beaucoup plu aux enfants entre 2 visites. Sacrofano est bien située près de Rome mais au calme. Merci Claudia pour cette très belle semaine romaine😊

Séjour plus que parfait

Lieu super sympa avec un gîte totalement équipé. Mais que dire de l'hospitalité des propriétaires : très bon contact. En plein été, la piscine est un élément indispensable après une visite dans Rome. Tout est fait que pour les familles s'y sentent bien et les différents gîtes sont parfaitement indépendant. Merci Claudia.

A piece of paradise

We had a wonderful experience staying at l'Antica Quercia. Claudia and Michaela were amazing. They did so much to make our stay memorable. We were three generations of our family -- myself, my two daughters and son-in-law and my baby grand-daughter. Our hostesses were so kind, even providing expert help in a minor medical emergency when one of us had a bleeding head wound. They were constantly providing extra services -- moving the play furniture closer for the baby, helping us to keep cool by building an awning and outdoor sitting area, and they work so hard keeping the pool area and gardens immaculate. I would definitely recommend this place and hope I can return next year.

Ein tolles Haus, das wir jederzeit nur empfehlen können

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum. Die Lage ist super, mit Blick auf den Petersdom am Horizont. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war großzügig, sauber und bequem. Es gab einen Grill und einen Pizzaofen auf der Terrasse, die wir gerne benutzt haben. Der Pool ist mit Salzwasser gefüllt, was das Baden sehr angenehm macht. Unsere Kinder waren fast nicht mehr aus dem Wasser zu bekommen. Rom konnten wir bequem besuchen, indem wir mit dem Auto zur Bahn fuhren und ohne Stress mit der Bahn ins Zentrum kamen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir möchten gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank.

Belle demeure propre proche de Rome

Nous sommes restés 3 semaines dans une des locations de la propriétaire qui est l'atout majeure de cette location tant elle est avenante, enjouée et toujours prête à vous rendre service. Il s'agit d'une grande maison divisée en plusieurs locations avec des terrasses indépendantes, on n'est donc pas gêné par les voisins. Il y a un grand parking et une piscine commune nettoyée quotidiennement comme le reste d'ailleurs. Inutile de prendre les ballons, des jeux, des raquettes tout est à disposition sur place et en libre service. Dans l'appartement que nous avions il y avait la climatisation donc aucun souci avec la chaleur. La surface est suffisamment grande pour que chacun est son coin (il y a 2 salles de bains, 2 WC) La vue sur Rome est très agréable surtout la nuit. Il faut compter 20 minutes max pour s'y rendre en voiture (centre ville attention aux zones de circulation autorisées ou non appelées ZTL sinon il y a verbalisation au retour en France). A 5mn en voiture il y a des commerces pour ses courses basiques à Socrafano et à 15 min un supermarché. Tout est fait pour que vous passiez d'excellentes vacances tranquilles, d'autant que Claudia veille à ce que l'ensemble de ses locations ne soient pas complètes en même temps (nous étions 2 familles pour l'ensemble de la résidence et la propriétaire Claudia). Je recommande.

Loved everything about this place!

We had a wonderful holiday here for mum mothers 70th birthday. The owners were incredibly helpful and hospitable. The villa was clean and welcoming. The beds were firm and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and well looked after. Our young children's had an amazing time, lots of space to run about and have fun. The local village is endearing and the people kind and friendly. The trip into central Rome was easy and cost effective. We had a very memorable stay here and hope to return. Thank You Claudia (and Michela) for sharing your beautiful home.
