Welcome to `Waterfront Villa,` one of the accommodations at Ubuntu Lake Houses on the Vinkeveense Plassen. This charming chalet offers total privacy in the house and garden (400m2), allowing you to dive directly from the swimming platform into one of the cleanest waters. It provides access to tranquility and freedom, ideal for water and nature enthusiasts. Enjoy boating, fishing, sunbathing, and swimming, with two free SUP boards available. Welcome to an oasis of comfort and relaxation.

Guests have complete privacy and, therefore, access to the fenced garden and the entire chalet.

You have full access to the gigantic garden, where privacy is guaranteed thanks to the surrounding fence.



Upon arrival, there is a key safe available for you to check in on your own and decide your arrival time, after 3:00 PM. We share all information regarding your stay 5 days in advance. The check-in code will be provided to you at 3:00 PM. If you need a different check-in or check-out time, please inquire about the possibilities. (Organizing parties is not allowed in this accommodation.)

It is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, such as sailors, kayakers, and divers, due to the clear water and the diversity of flora and fauna underwater. In addition to water sports, Vinkeveen also offers beautiful hiking and cycling routes around the lakes and through the surrounding countryside. The area is known for its peaceful and natural environment, making it an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. Vinkeveen is not far from urban areas such as Amsterdam and Utrecht, making it attractive for people who want to combine nature with the proximity of urban amenities, attractions, or nightlife. Moreover, there are two supermarkets and a variety of dining options nearby, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Motor vehicles cannot reach the accommodation directly, allowing you to enjoy total tranquility on the edge of the Vinkeveense Plassen, surrounded by nature, birds, and a serene silence. A walk of 700 meters from the parking lot will bring you to this delightful location. Upon arrival, our convenient cargo bike awaits you at the harbor entrance, effortlessly transporting all your belongings to this beautiful holiday destination. We provide 2 free bicycles for your convenience, allowing easy cycling to and from the parking lot. The bikes are good enough for a quick up and down to the supermarket, but not for long journeys. Upon arrival at the parking lot, you can securely leave these bikes. Additionally, 10 large carts are available in the park for free use.



Parking:

You can park for free on the road in front of the harbor from October 1 to March 31. Outside this period, a maximum parking duration of 2 hours applies within the disc parking zone between 8:00 and 19:00. It is possible to park your car for a fee in a large parking lot opposite the park. (The cost to park your car in the parking lot opposite the park is €10 per day)



On-Demand Service:

For a fee, we offer the option to pick you up with a golf cart and transport all your luggage directly to the accommodation. If you are interested, please inquire about the possibilities or have a look in our guestportal after booking :)

The `Waterfront Villa,` completed in 2022, is brand new and equipped with modern conveniences such as a dishwasher and washing machine, and features insect screens and air conditioning in both bedrooms. With an area of 55 m², this charming chalet offers complete privacy, both indoors and in the garden. The unique and central location, within walking and cycling distance, makes it easily accessible.



In the southeast-facing garden, you can enjoy a delightful lounge set and sunbeds, while children have fun with the available toys and trampoline. Choose between two barbecues, charcoal or gas, for relaxed outdoor evenings.



For a fee, you can rent a boat from us, allowing you to fully enjoy the refreshing Vinkeveen Lakes directly from our location. At the beginning of the harbor, you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the small menu on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Additionally, Thuisbezorgd offers numerous options for waterfront dining.



If you crave city life during your stay, you can reach the heart of Amsterdam by car (or taxi) in just 20 minutes from the parking lot, making this tranquil oasis on the Vinkeveen Lakes the perfect base for both serenity and vibrant city life.
