Casa Josephine Riofrío is a charming quaint retreat in a small village at the foot of the Guadarrama Mountain Range, a National Park merely one hour North of Madrid and 15 minutes from Segovia city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is a house for 4/5 people, carefully designed by award-winning Casa Josephine Studio and featured in AD USA and Elle Decor among other magazines. Relaxed and comfortable, with two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, living area and a small patio with table for al fresco dining and a plunge pool, the house is fully equipped for a laidback holiday or a weekend getaway from Madrid.
In the area: the palace and woods of Riofrío, once the hunting grounds of the Spanish Royal Family; the palace and gardens of La Granja, built in the 18th century as the "Spanish Versailles"; Segovia, with its fascinating Medieval architecture and the best preserved Roman acqueduct in the Mediterranean; horseback riding; hikes in Guadarrama National Park; gastronomy and crafts.
