Summary:
A unique eco home in Cookswood quarry, with a stunning open plan living room, kitchen and dining room and then spacious bedrooms upstairs. The house also includes a gym room for those who are looking to keep up with their fitness while away. A garden space outside with pizza oven gives everyone space to relax and unwind when staying here. The property has it's own private driveway where you may bring a maximum of four cars. There is also an electric car charging point at the property.
The Space:
Downstairs
As you enter the house via the front door, you enter the large open plan living space, boasting all the modern conveniences. You are greeted with a cosy reading area, providing large comfortable seating and space to enjoy the heart of the home.
The lounge comfortably seats 10 people around a large smart screen TV. There are cosy cushions and blankets to make family time snug and comfortable.The open plan space has sliding doors that open onto the large patio area, perfect for large gatherings and making the house flow outside. One of the sofas is a double sofa bed which is easy to use with crisp white linen provided. There is a Sonos system and ceiling speakers that provide superb sound for enjoying the TV and music.
The kitchen island has 6 bar stools, and the well equipped kitchen has all that you would need for large family meals and entertaining for all occasions. There is a wine fridge in the island to chill your drinks to perfection. There is an induction hob, fridge and freezer and dishwasher. The large floor to ceiling windows allow a flood of natural light to flood in and light up the space.
The dinning table seats 12 people, and has a sliding door leading onto another patio area, perfect for summer evening meals.
There is a a large foosball table, and range of board games and outdoor games for you to make the most of your stay.
The house also includes a gym room for those keen to keep up with their fitness while away. The space has a Peloton Tread and Guide and a Concept4 Rowing Machine, and several weights. The sliding door opens onto the patio making work outs comfortable. There is an adjoining shower room, basin and WC.
There is a large utility room with a door leading into the garden. This is the perfect room for using after a walk outside and kicking off the wellies. This homes the washer/dryer and has space for coats.
UPSTAIRS
Bedroom 1 - King sized bed with 'Emma Matress',and crisp white linen. Sliding doors lead onto the balcony that over looks beautiful trees. This bedroom also enjoys an en-suite bathroom, with a shower room, WC, double sink, a large and deep free standing bath and heated towel rail. There is a large smart TV for enjoying movies in bed.
Bedroom 2 - Double bed with 'Emma Matress' and crisp white linen, and a large opening window with views over the trees. This room also has access to the balcony.
Bedroom 3 - Double bed with 'Emma Matress' and crisp white linen and a Juliet balcony. This room enjoys an en-suite with shower, sink and WC.
Bedroom 4 - Two single beds with 'Emma Matresses' and crisp white linen. This room enjoys an en-suite with shower, sink and WC.
Family Bathroom - A large family bathroom with bath with shower, WC and sink.
The balcony accessed by bedroom 1 and 2 has seating to enjoy the morning sunrise and stunning views throughout the day.
OUTSIDE
There is a large patio with a dinning table and chairs for 10 people. The pizza oven provides great fun and cooks delicious pizzas and other items. All equipment needed is provided such as gloves, paddle, and other accessories. There are herbs growing for adding to your cooking. There is a fire pit that provides good heat for the evenings and for toasting marshmallows. The grass area is perfect for games and outside activities. Outside lights ensure you can make the most of summer nights.
Bird feeding stations and bug hotels encourage wildlife, which is in abundance. Wild rabbits, deer, pheasants and bird of prey are often seen.
*A Hot tub should be installed by the end of April for guests to enjoy*.
The house has parking four cars, two cars can be parked at the house and the others must be parked at reception. There is access to an electric car charger which you are welcome to use during your stay.
Other Things to Note:
While the house is completed, the wider site is still under phased construction. You may notice building activity elsewhere on the estate, but this should not affect your stay. The estate is a former quarry, and the terrain can be muddy, so we recommend bringing wellies or suitable walking shoes if you plan to explore the surroundings.
Please note this property is not a party/ hen do/ stag house as it is situated in a quiet, rural environment.

★ Please do not smoke in the house (inc. vaping & e-cigarettes).
★ Please do not wear shoes inside.
★ Please avoid making an unreasonable amount of noise, particularly after 11pm.
