We had a truly enchanting stay at Twine Cottage in Chipping Campden.Rosie was an excellent communicator and very helpful in many ways! The location was ideal for us as we could easily walk to anywhere in town (and a couple fabulous walks out of town from the cottage) despite our advancing years and my husband's bad knees/hips. It was a joy to return to the cottage, have a soak in the luxurious tub, watch a dvd on the cozy couch while browsing the many helpful and interesting books on the shelves and eventually falling into a cozy sleep in the lovely bed upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time here and heartily recommend Twine Cottage to anyone considering a stay in the Cotswolds! Thank you Rosie!

Cosy Cotswolds Cottage

We fell in love with gorgeous cottage as soon as we walked through the gate. The beautiful cottage garden was just perfect. The Cottage was so cosy and welcoming. Everything was superb for our 4 nights stay. It was so lovely to come home after a day out exploring the Cotswolds

Chipping Camden Love

This was my second time to stay in The Wren Cottage. It is the epitome of Cotswold charm! Cozy with wonderful kitchen, large bathroom and comfy bed. Plenty of storage and the greatest location ever! The courtyard garden is precious.The walk through to the High Street is 5 minutes. Coop grocery right there. Many delicious restaurants and Prepared food as well as pubs, coffee/tea and bakeries. Rosie is fantastic ! We really got on well and had many adventures together! You will have nothing but fun in Chipping Camden in the Wren Cottage!

Nice stay

Chipping Campden is a wonderful place to visit. The cottage is very well situated on a quiet street, within minutes of the high street and Cotswold Way. The owner was very kind and responsive to all our needs. Kitchen was perfect for light meals and we really appreciated the washing machine! Nice homey atmosphere.

Lovely Thatched Cottage in Chipping Campden

We had a lovely stay in Twine Cottage in Chipping Campden. The thatched cottage was charming, very comfortable and a great location. Rosie was wonderful to work with and provided lots of very useful information which made our stay a wonderful experience.

Chipping Campden Cottage

My husband and I loved staying five nights at Twine Cottage. The cottage was charming, cozy, and clean. We had everything we needed—attractive sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom, large bathroom with tub and shower, and a lovely garden in which to sit and enjoy the birds and flowers. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Cotswolds, walking on the Cotswold Way, and enjoying the shops and restaurants of Chipping Campden itself. Rosie was a wonderful host and property manager, who prepared the cottage for our visit and provided all the information we needed for a wonderful stay in the Cotswolds.

Great Stay!

This home was beautiful! Rosie did a great job as our host and was always available to us. The location of the home is very nice. Just a short walk into the cute village which has several pubs to choose from for a pint or something to eat. We had a great stay and give it 5 stars!! Best, Ted and Pam

Absolutely gorgeous and perfectly located

We absolutely loved the cottage and it was perfectly located a very short walk to nice restaurants and pubs. The size of the cottage was perfect for two people, and the bathroom and kitchen were nicely updated and well stocked. The adorable garden was just the right size to enjoy fresh air and a lunch outside, and from the first day we felt part of the community thanks to the lovely neighbor who welcomed us. Thank you, Rosie. We will happily return again and again! PS Of course ceilings are low, it was built in the 1600s, so anyone who is taller than 5’10” needs to be aware. But the “stooping” will be worth it!

Twine Cottage - Charming Experience

My husband and I had a wonderful 5-day stay at Twine cottage and Rosie couldn’t have been more helpful with questions before and during our time there — a very caring host. With so many Cotswold villages to choose from as our base, we felt Chipping Camden was the perfect spot. The town itself is charming with great pubs and restaurants to choose from. Perfect Weekend Break

Twine Cottage is a wonderful place to stay in idyllic Chipping Campden. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and very well equipped. We spent most of time exploring the many walks in the area with our Black Lab and enjoying the hospitality of the local pubs and restaurants. We can recommend The Eight Bells and The Howard Arms at Ilmington (Sunday Lunch); Huxleys for breakfast on the terrace was also a highlight. Our first time in Chipping Campden and we will definitely return.

Wonderful

Twine Cottage is the quintessential fairytale thatched cottage nestled in the perfect Cotswolds town. We had everything we needed for a longer stay, although the bed was a bit small for such a long stay (there really isn't room for anything bigger). This is our second time to Chipping Campden and the location of this cottage, just behind the center of town, was ideal as it came with little to no traffic noise at night. We hiked part of the Cotswolds Way right from the cottage and visited so many nearby amazing National Trust properties. Rosie was wonderful and we would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful quaint little cottage

I’ve been to the cotswolds a few times and stayed in numerous villages. Twine cottage was by far the most lovely cottage we’ve stayed in! It was really homely, very warm and cosy. The location is perfect you’re literally right behind the village high street so it was perfect for walking in and out of the village. Parking was easy there was always space right outside. The cottage itself is so cosy, the bed and sofa are super comfy. Rosie was a perfect helpful host, there are tons of leaflets and books with reccomendations for restaurants/ trips/ walks. If you’re looking for a version of ‘the holiday’ in the cotswolds… then you MUST stay here! :) we will certainly be back.. thanks Rosie!
