Luxurious ocean-front home with dock

This exquisite oceanfront home with amazing views from almost every room, offers four bedrooms, three full baths, and sleeps eleven. It is located at the end of a dead-end road, so you have lots of privacy and 3 1/2 beautiful acres, all to yourself. The home has been completely renovated in 2017 with a new kitchen, three and a half new bathrooms, brand new furnishings, linens, and kitchenware. A new deep water dock was added in 2025. (see pictures)

Located in the village of Saint George, Maine, this is the perfect spot for you to enjoy everything that Midcoast Maine has to offer…museums, restaurants, light houses, shopping, hiking, and beaches. It’s only a few miles from Rockland’s vibrant downtown and only a few minutes from the picturesque town of Port Clyde.

The home has a large, lovely living area that is filled with light and is great for socializing. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all boast large picture windows that make you feel as though you’re floating on the ocean. There is a large patio that overlooks the water so you can enjoy the cool ocean breezes. The kitchen is fully-equipped with granite counter tops, a large island for gathering, and stainless steel appliances so you can enjoy preparing an amazing lobster dinner for your friends and family.

Imagine waking up in the master suite of this luxurious home, and opening your eyes each morning to breathtaking views of the ocean from your king-sized bed. You can spend the perfect day reading a book, sipping cocktails with friends, or just enjoying the view of the water and watching the lobstermen pull their traps. This property provides direct access to the water, and the home boasts two kayaks for your use, so you can launch them from your own private beach and explore by land and by sea!

Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic ocean views, the gentle sound of the waves lapping at high tide, and the purr of the lobster boats going out for their catch. In the evening you can relax on the patio and enjoy the cool ocean breezes, then fall asleep listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean. There is no better spot for savoring everything that is quintessentially Maine!

Lovely house, wonderful vistas, dock for swimming and fishing, kayaks, basketball hoop (especially nice for our grandchilldren), hammocks, etc etc. We had a wonderful family vacation. We all decided we wanted to return next year. On a practical side the kitchen is nicely outfitted and easy to work in. The interior spaces are well outfitted and accomodating. We enjoyed hanging out, reading and eating out on the terrace. All in all we were extremely pleased.

Stunning ocean front home, with excellent views, dock and lawn/grounds. We really enjoyed the dock with kayaks available as well as the great room for games and puzzles. Spent every morning on the deck with coffee. Saw much wildlife everyday. Glad there was an extra daybed available as the bunk bed room was too tight for two teens. Would definitely return.

Fantastic views of the waterfront from the property. Very comfortable house and bedrooms with views of the water from nearly every room. The deck is a great place to enjoy the sun and the sounds of the birds and the sea. The house is well located in a private position at the end of the road, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals in. The nearby villages of St. George and Port Clyde are charming in this beautiful area of Maine.

Upon arrival as usual we checked the entire home over before we moved our belongings inside. We discovered several very dirty pots and pans, still having food stuck to them. The Keurig coffee pot was broken, and the drip coffee maker was filthy.The floors had dirt on it and both live and dead bugs. One of the upstairs bedrooms had cobwebs over the king bed with live spiders in it and one of the other upstairs bedroom had body fluids all over the sheets.The dining room table was very sticky, and the dining room table lights were covered in dust and had burned out bulbs in it.The cleaning crew at this property was doing what I call a religious cleaning, that is to say they were praying no one would notice they were not doing their job, and when property management does not double check on the cleaning crew it gives the renters a very bad feeling. Even the gift the owner had left there for us which was a box of chocolates and a jar of jelly were out of date by several weeks. We contacted the property manager and told her what we had found and sent her all the photos we had taken of these issues. She apologized and promised to come the next morning to clean the home and replace the broken coffee pot, she also offered a one-night refund for us.The home needs updated furniture as what is in the home is very uncomfortable to sit on. Some nice leather couches and oversized chairs would be a nice improvement and make the stay more comfortable. The home needs upgrading

To summarize, we've already booked for next year! The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. If you want to just hang around and relax it is wonderful, also plenty of attractions if you'd prefer. Great spot

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely situated and beautifully appointed! It has everything we needed and Sue has been very responsive and helpful. The view is gorgeous, which is a big bonus!

Thanks so much for this wonderful review! The view is one of my favorite in the midcoast area, and sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the yard, looking out to sea, could be an all-day experience! There is so much to do on the property that you don't ever have to leave...kayaks, ping pong table, board games, 2 smart televisions, 3 1/2 acres of explore, and of course sea glass hunting on the beach at low tide. But if you wanted to stretch your legs, Port Clyde is a wonderful little town that is just 2 miles away, or Rockland is a short drive. Both have lovely shops and restaurants, so be sure to explore everything! Please come back again soon!

Perfect summer vacation getaway

This is a perfect place for family getaway in summer. We enjoyed the kayaking, the spectacular sunset and beautiful night sky ( we even saw shooting stars!). It is a little expensive but well worth the money.

This is a very unique property which has something for just about everyone...privacy on 3 1/2 acres, ocean frontage to enjoy hunting for the ocean's treasures on the beach at low tide, kayaking from your back yard, a fabulous game room and an outdoor basketball hoop for those with a competitive streak, a gourmet kitchen, and lots of space to gather both inside and out. If you'd like some alone time with a good book, there are Adirondack chairs on the lawn, a lovely patio, and several quiet spots in the house. And if you should ever want to leave the property, the lovely little village of Port Clyde is just 2 miles away, and the town of Rockland is a short car ride. Both offer wonderful restaurants and shops. This one-of-a-kind home has been so thoughtfully decorated and outfitted that it will be your new favorite get-away spot!

The ocean cove location is beautiful. When we weren't outside, the large ocean-facing windows gave us incredible views. Eagles often landed in the trees even as we sat outside. We saw a seal swim past nearly everyday. One afternoon, there were 16 turkeys in the yard. We felt fortunate to see some boats check their nearby lobster traps. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely and special place.

We love this house! There's plenty of room for all to spread out. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in. We love having access to kayaks to explore the shore, and the new dock makes it very easy to launch the kayaks. The adult kids love the ping pong table and the corn hole. The older generation love watching the lobster boats, the birds and the stars.

Wonderful Extended Family Vacation

Perfect fall getaway

We had a wonderful time - kayaking, hiking, reading, enjoying lobster rolls, and cooking (in the very well equipped kitchen). The views from the house are beautiful on rainy days as well as sunny. Definitely a place to return to.

And although the property is private, you're only 3 miles from Port Clyde where you will find an art gallery, two restaurants, a wonderful general store, coffee shop, and of course, the ferry to Monhegan Island. Beautiful Mid-Coast Home

A wonderful home and a terrific base from which to explore all that this part of Maine has to offer. Well equipped, with comfortable accommodation for the entire family. Tremendous views from the generous deck and yard.

Comfortable home in a lovely setting

We were two families with young kids who truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The home is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, however the real gem is the outdoor space and gorgeous views. We also found the hosts to be generous and accommodating. We'll be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Idyllic spot on the Maine coast

We had a lovely 2 weeks at this beautiful spot with our family. Wonderful hiking fairly close by as well as neighboring towns to explore. We always returned back to the house to prepare dinner in the wonderful kitchen and to gaze at the beautiful view. Sue, the property manage was very receptive and very easy to deal with.

Beautiful place with a great view

Our family of 3 adult couples enjoyed a wonderful week at this beautiful house with a great view. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed a nature trip with Hardy Boats, a day in Rockland, and the trolls at the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. We would highly recommend!

The twenty-foot-tall wooden troll sculptures at the Botanical Gardens are a wonderful new addition and are definitely a "must see"! A perfect getaway!

We had a lovely week at the stone house. Very clean. The view of the water was wonderful. Having easy access to the beach was perfect . Very private. The property manager was very responsive.

Wonderful home, view, location

Six women all celebrating our 60th birthday year convened at this gorgeous home for a week of pure relaxation. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well appointed, and the LR and DR perfect sizes. We loved the balcony overlooking the water, the Adirondack chairs closer to the water, and the expansive lawn. Some of our party kayaked. We loved the location and enjoyed our day excursions. Top notch property.
