Enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend and the home had everything we needed in the kitchen to serve up a feast. Very comfortable home with a great fireplace in the family room. The beach was a short walk and they had great walking paths nearby.

The yard and patio area was very nice however the rain kept us inside most of the weekend. Thanks again for sharing your home with us to create memories.

Adorable Oasis!

My husband and I have stayed at this home twice, it is the perfect spot. Located close to the town and a short walk from the beach. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees. Plus Nehalem Bay State Park is right outside your door. We love staying here!

Beautiful place, great location!

  • 5 of 5

This spot is a real standout amid what seem like cookie-cutter new-builds by contrast. It has great history - years back it was the warming hut for the adjacent Nehalem State Park, and was then the family home for year-round residents. And it really feels like a family home; very cozy and accommodating. Great kitchen, updated and beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds. The outdoor area is just lovely and private- perfect for cocktails and dinner on the deck or front patio.

Great location, too! The walk to the (jaw dropping) beach or into town is quick and easy, great shops and really good restaurants (the Bistro, the Big Wave), a perfect and quirky general store with the friendliest people. Try Wanda's in nearby Nehalem for breakfast, and if you love a good dive bar with really good food, the Bay Way is fun for lunch and a game of pool on a rainy afternoon. And don't miss Kelly's!

But make no mistake, it is the beach that is the real star. The Oregon coast is breathtaking, and it felt like we could walk forever, especially under the canopy of stars at night. Ecola state park is magical, Hug Point is incredible ... Manzanita Bliss is perfectly named. We will absolutely be back!
