The Cowboys Sunset Retreat is a gorgeous new home. Everything inside celebrates the American west - Beautiful locally made log furniture and railing - bathroom vanity made from a used wine barrel - reclaimed horseshoes set into the stone in the showers (& yes we ride the horses the shoes came from) stunning sunset photography of my Cowboy, me & our 5 little cowgirls (they are our top Ranch hands!) - oil lamp replicas throughout the home. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances & granite countertops. Come relax with us as you enjoy Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon & the Grand Canyon.

Beautiful property in a quiet location on the east entrance to Zion.
Great as advertised. Kitchen, bedrooms, laundry, it has it all.
We enjoyed staying in The Cowboys Sunset Retreat. It is an cozy house. The description and photos are true. The house is well equipped for cooking and barbeque - also for 6 adults. We enjoyed visiting Bryce Canyon National Park and a little caynon near Orderville. Zion National Park was closed (flood after a thunder storm). We can absolute recommend the house.
Don’t rent this house!!!!...
Don’t rent this house when I want to rent it, that is. Let me start out by listing all the things I think this house/host/hostess was lacking: #1)................... That’s right, nothing.
Here’s the lowdown. Very nice house right in the middle of Zion (45 minutes away) and Bryce (75 minutes away). If you leave the house at 7AM to go to either park, you are almost guaranteed of getting a parking space at each’s visitor center parking. With the four bedrooms and loft pull-out bed, our party of nine slept comfortably and could easily fit a few more. Central A/C made it wonderful to come back to after warm days of hiking. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. For the television, I recommend you bring a HDMI cord and adapter so you can hook up your device to feed it.
It really felt like a home away from home. Any household item for the kitchen, bathroom/shower; and laundry room you could think of, they had. The parking area fit our two large SUVs easily and another could have parked in front of the house. The WiFi signal was adequate for the almost dozen devices we hooked into it. But if you bring in that many devices and a few of those start streaming, expect some lag. ( This is not a negative comment towards the house, but just a piece of advice.)
The front loading washer and dryer also helped us pack less than normal and was a godsend for us to clean our clothes after a few days of hiking.
Great communication/ follow up with the owners and e-mails ir texts were answered by the next day.
I could go on, but you get the picture. If the rating went higher than 5 stars, I’d give it that too.
We just spent 9 nights in Cowboys Sunset Retreat. We loved it! It was conveniently located, beautiful house with everything you need and Harmony was so gracious to work with. She makes sure you'll have everything you need. It is a great location to do so much in Utah! I highly recommend this place.
Exactly what we were looking for in a great location!
Harmony was so accommodating, and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay went great. We were traveling with two infants and she helped make the stay go smoothly by providing high chairs and pack n plays. Everything was neat and plenty of room for four couples. We were visiting for a wedding at the nearby Pink Sand Dunes and this ranch served as a perfect home base for our weekend!
Great location for Bryce and Zion
We had a great stay at Cowboys Sunset. Nice home and very accommodating hosts.
Oh thank you Ross! We appreciate so much your kind review. Please come again.
