Black Hall Cottage is a charming, detached stone cottage which enjoys the most stunning location just across the road from the beach at Amroth, every room has wonderful sea views over Carmarthen Bay towards Tenby and Caldey Island.Renovated throughout to a high standard, it has retained its traditional charm and is comfortably furnished. A pathway leads up from the road; step into the fitted cottage-style kitchen with breakfast bar and through into the spacious dining/sitting room with wooden parquet flooring and beams, cosy up on the large leather sofa set round the wood burning stove, ideal for those chillier evenings, all overlooking the beach. Stairs lead from the sitting room up to a modern bathroom and bedrooms each with wonderful sea views, the master bedroom with ensuite is a romantic retreat, while the twin leads through to a further double room. Wake to see the sun glistening on the water and listen to the sound of the waves gently breaking on the sand. The enclosed garden is terraced with a small lawn; there is a sheltered patio and further raised deck where you can dine alfresco on a summer’s evening, but the best spot are the benches in front of the house, enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening and soak up the view listening to the sound of the sea.Spend your days on this glorious beach, miles and miles of sand on your doorstep, perfect for families and water enthusiasts leading through to Marros Beach, while there is a popular local pub, The New Inn, just yards away, where you can enjoy a drink or pub meal, or further along Amroth beach there is a further pub, cafe and village shop to choose from. If you tire of the beaches, a walk through the National Trust Colby Estate Gardens should not be missed, famous for its colourful Rhododendrons, Azaleas and woodland walks up through the valley.The Coastal Path starts here and is the perfect way to really appreciate this magnificent coastline, there are numerous wonderful beaches including Wiseman’s Bridge over the headland with its beachside pub serving good food where you can refresh before the journey home. Further on, walk through the tunnels, a relic of this area’s industrial coal mining past to Coppet Hall beach with its renowned Lan y Môr Restaurant, and then to Saundersfoot with its range of facilities and wonderful sandy beaches. The medieval walled town of Tenby, just a short drive away, is well worth a visit with its cobbled streets, excellent facilities, beaches and picturesque harbour; take a boat trip to Caldey Island, the home of Cistercian monks.Black Hall Cottage is a wonderful beachside cottage, perfect for families or a romantic retreat for a couple to enjoy whatever the season.Please Note: Cot and highchair are not provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
