Stunning location next to Summerleaze beach in Bude, this spacious detached house is set with superb views of beach and sea. With views from all rooms, this is an excellent base for a holiday at any time of year.
Groundfloor: Living room with French doors opening out onto patio looking over the beach with sitting-out area and furniture. Dining room with sea views. Kitchen.. Shower room with toilet.
Firstfloor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 bunk. Bathroom with shower over bath. Separate toilet.
Wooden floors throughout. Open fire in living room. Gas CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Parking (1 car). T/cot. H/chair. Smart TV. HeyGoogle, Elec induction cooker. M/wave. Washer/dryer. D/washer, tall fridge/freezer.
NB:There are slopes in the garden and 12 steps to the lane.
The beach is a minutes walk across the lockgate! Bude town centre and its amenities is just a 5minute stroll away.
There is horse riding; a golf course; chartered sea fishing; surfing and swimming in Bude, also boasting one of the few tidal sea pools in Britain. With a sea lock dividing the canal from the sea, you're but a stone's throw away from fishing, boating and canoeing all available on the canal.
Bude also offers a range of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Splash leisure centre with indoor pool and ten pin bowling alley and soft play for younger kids close by.
This part of the coast is very popular with water sports enthusiasts; those craving a classic Cornish seaside holiday with lovely beaches and those keen walkers, with the coastal path being just outside the back door. Plus Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle, Rock & Padstow just 30 minute drives away.
The perfect place for a seaside holiday. Shop and pub 400 yards away.

The house must reign supreme for a rental property in Bude. The views are superb with easy access to the town. We have booked again because it can't be beaten.

Gina and Johnathan are lovely hosts - very welcoming and easily contactable should you need anything. The house was comfortable, warm and has amazing views. Watching the surfers tackling the waves and the dogs playing on the beach was very entertaining. Also, Bude town has all the amenities you could wish for.

Homely cottage with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Very comfortable seating and beds. Perfectly located with an lovely view of the beach. Added benefit of many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance

An exceptionally well-placed spacious house with easy access to beach, Efford Down and SW Coastal Path. The weather prevented use of the adjacent decking with fantastic view and brick built barbecue. Property was clean and reasonably well-equipped, dog friendly and close to town, pub and food outlets.

Beautiful scenic accommodation

We had a wonderful time staying in Bude at the lovely Munster cottage. The accommodation was very cosy and practical. Owners were lovely. The location was second to none. Would not hesitate recommending this house.

Best location ever

I like to come here twice a year, the views are amazing and the car can be left parked. The kids (20 and 24) love it as they can go off surfing and i can just watch from the decking with a glass of wine.

Location, Location, Location!!Amazing views from all rooms. Such a great house with spacious rooms.We have been coming to Bude for the last 7 years and this is definitely the best house we have stopped in.Parking is a little tight behind the house but this was made clear when booking so didnt worry us.I am sure we will back in the future.

Munster cottage

Ideal location. Children and adults loved the sea and pool and dog loved all the cliff top walks. Close to the town and Sainsbury’s only a short walk over the dunes. Top quality bedding and fully stocked with all necessities. Loved it.

Great location and lovely house

Excellent communication with Gina (owner). House overlooks the beach, so lots to see. The house is warm and the beds comfortable. Easy walk to pub and shops. What more could you ask for.

Great stay in Bude

This was a great property, exactly as described. Location is excellent and Summerleaze beach was the perfect local beach. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of restaurants nearby to walk to also.

Paradise

Wonderfully located overlooking Summerleaze Beach, Cornwall, this is truly paradise. This is a detached house overlooking the fabulous beach, river and canal. It only takes about two minutes to walk to the lovely sandy beach and a few more minutes to reach the fabulous sea pool. Shrouded in history the house with balcony has exceptional views and is simply stunning!

Beautiful and relaxing

The house had everything you would need. The double beds are super comfortable and importantly the shower is hot and powerful. The views are outstanding but take a blanket for the decking as it gets windy.

The most beautiful house

Munster Cottage was an absolute dream stay for our family of five. The views are spectacular and we especially enjoyed being right on the beech. We had a fantastic holiday and can’t wait to return.

Great location

We had a lovely stay at Munster House. The amazing views alone sell this house being situated opposite Summerleaze beach accessed over the canal. It's just lovely to sit and watch the world go by on the terrace. The terraced area is closed off with two wooden bench seats, chunky wide chairs plus a BBQ. Bude natural swimming pool & Life's a Beach Cafe are both visible from the patio & are just a short walk across the beach from the house. The town is also walkable about 1/2 mile away. There's a Post Office selling essentials nearby plus The Falcon Hotel where we had two memorable meals as well as a pub next door. There are gift shops and cafes alongside the canal nearby too. Upstairs the house has 2 comfy queen beds with plenty of storage space. Downstairs is spacious too, with a store room for beach accessories. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The walk in larder was great for storage. There's a small shower room with toilet downstairs & all rooms from this house have an amazing sea view. My only negative is, if you're tall, injured or mobility impaired in some way, you might find the lounge furniture very low as well as the toilets. You can access the front of the property step free by the car port, the access at the back has quite a few steps leading down to the canal & beach. The terrace area is enclosed so good for dogs but if you have a dog be prepared there is no garden so it's a night time walk along the lanes outside either front or back.

Amazing beachside location with sea views from every room

We had an amazing week at Munster cottage. We traveled with or kids of 9, 10 & 14 and our one year old dog. We all loved it! The property has everything you could need and is tastefully furnished throughout (even nicer than the photos as some furnishings and decor have been updated since the pictures were taken). Lovely and clean too but most importantly the location is perfect. It’s so close to the beach that popping back to use the loo or make lunch takes no time at all. While dogs need to be on leads on the beach between 10:00-6:00 we had some amazing off lead walks along the coast outside these times (and lots of on-lead swimming & paddling during the day). The coastal footpath is accessible from right outside the front of the property too so rain or shine you can step outside and connect with stunning views and open space. Shops and places to eat are a very short walk away and easily accessible but without feeling like they are on top of you. There is also a good sized Sainsburys a 10 minute walk away so we didn’t need to use the car all week. We were blessed to have the most amazing weather during our stay but I would not hesitate to book another visit at any time of year. It would be good to get a keysafe for the back door as well as the front as we barely used the front door and I was worried about loosing the key on the beach. This is a suggestion rather than a criticism though as we loved our stay and would love to visit again. Thank you

June stay at Munster Cottage

We had a lovely stay in the last week of June. The house is exactly as described and very comfortable. The views are fantastic, so nice to see the sea from all rooms and watch the tide come in early morning and late afternoon. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.
