This is one of the best holiday cottages that we have stayed at over the past few years.
This is one of the best holiday cottages that we have stayed at over the past few years. The barn is very well equipped, comfortable and in a great location to access Salisbury, The New Forest and the coast (we visited during the New forest walking festival and were able to attend a ranger day time walk and a dusk walk). We had a couple of days where I didn't want to drive and found there are many walks that you can do from the barn itself plus it is only a short walk into the village which had a great pub and local shop. I would definitely book again.

Modern, well equipped accommodation for a peaceful break.
Modern, well equipped accommodation for a peaceful break. Good walks from the front door. Village of Pitton with thatched cottages, shop and welcoming pub 10 minutes walk away. During our week way, we only used our car twice; once for a supermarket shop, the other for a day sightseeing in Salisbury.

If you're looking for peace, quiet and seclusion, this is the place for you.
If you're looking for peace, quiet and seclusion, this is the place for you. Some basic essentials were provided on arrival: bread, milk, butter, biscuits, etc. It's a stunning well equipped new build in the sleepy village of Pitton. A few minutes from Salisbury and 20 minutes from Stonehenge.Village pub a few minutes walk down the road provides good quality food. We used it as a base as we visited the South Coast. Would definitely book here again if we're ever back near Salisbury.

Myself and husband stayed here for four nights, we have stayed in other holiday cottages over the past few years. This is one, of the best well equipped, thought of everything, places we have stayed in. We always say we would never return to the same place twice, as there are so many places like this to stay. But we have already decided we will be returning in the future. The barn was very clean, comfortable bed comfy sofas, plenty of space, very, very quiet and the walks were right on the doorstep. We enjoy walking and always try and look for places that are near footpaths. The barn couldnt be any nearer to a footpath! So if you do enjoy walking you will love this place. We saw an owl and a deer and of course the sheep. I cant speak highly enough of the barn, well done Julia and Matthew. Not all places have everything you need, but this certainly did. Thanks for the welcome basket and we will be back. You live in a lovely area, we didnt use the car once.

It's very difficult to recommend something very highly as it might encourage others to visit and make future bookings more difficult- however there is no way we could give this accommodation anything other than 5*. It was truly exceptional and well worth the money. Congratulations to the owners for providing something so close to perfection. Thank you.
