Kingston Springs' Burns Park offers a .5 mile paved track, soccer fields, splash pad in warm weather and a 18 hole disc golf course. You'll also find a dog park there and brand new basketball court. Ball golf is only 12 miles away. Our guests say our beds are great and the solitude soothing. We live here too and realize we have more than enough space to share with you. Come stay with us and enjoy what we enjoy year round. The fall and spring color change is incredible. Snow and little ice is pretty dramatic. Summers are warm, at times downright hot but the evenings here in the south are for deck-sitting with an ice cold drink and grilling out on our gas three burner grill. It's great being here! About Brian Hallgren

Linda and I went to school together in Florida and make our full-time home here, so we can share this large home together. You will have kitchen privileges and a nice shared bathroom with tub and shower. We have spent a few vacations in AirBnBs and want you to feel as home here as we did in those places, whether sharing with the owner or having the whole place to yourselves. We may be elsewhere when you're here. Who knows? We are both semi-retired, she teaches a lot of yoga classes weekly, a free class is yours when you stay here, and I teach a yoga class one night a week, and do handyman work part time. We find solitude and safety in this neighborhood and you will too. A 40# Beagle mix lives here with a calico and two cockatiels.

Why Brian Hallgren chose Kingston Springs

We think that you can come here and realize the chill factor in this home. Whether you are downstairs in large living area with 2 beds or on the first level in the private bedroom, you'll find comfort and convenience here.

Owner's Response: Delightful guests! Quiet and very neat. Our friendly interactions were warm and informal. I’d have these folk back anytime! They deserved the 5*s we gave them!

Myself, my husband and 3 kids had quite an enjoyable stay. There is so much to do!

  • 5 of 5

We were only 20 minutes from downtown Nashville! We saw so much and did so much during our stay and our hosts couldn't have been nicer! We enjoyed fishing in the pond even though summer heat wasn't great for fishing. We actually plan on doing an adult trip sometime soon because we had so much fun! My husband was hesitant about sharing a space but we couldnt have been happier! Brian and Linda helped us more than anything with finding things to do! Beautiful house just outside of town! Still close to anything you may need and tons of awesome restaurants. I would recommend thus place highly to anyone!

Very Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

I was looking for a place to have a mini-retreat and get started writing course material for a course I will be teaching next fall. In the past, I had always stayed in motels and decided to try something I had never done, stay in a private home. It way exceeded my expectations, I had a very spacious area all to myself with all the privacy I wanted. It came with what one would expect, TV, Internet, a mini refrigerator, but the extras were the real deal maker. Comfortable chairs, a very quiet residential neighborhood, a small pond where I did some fly fishing, great hosts, to chat with, these are the things that chain motel can never offer. All of this for less than a 3-star motel.

I went away for the quiet, but another bonus is the location. Its located less than 45 minutes from Nashville and all that the city has to offer. Hotel prices in Nashville are in the same price range as New Yor City. Commute a little and save well over a hundred a night. An added bonus is there is much to do and beautiful scenery in the immediate area of Kingston Springs. Do your self a favor and book here the next time you are in Middle Tennesse, you will not be sorry.

Brian & Linda’s home is beautiful. We had the ground level all to ourselves. It was clean, it had all the basic amenities we needed. Brian & Linda are such warm hosts, we felt like we were staying with family.

Linda even made us such tasty blueberry muffins the day we were leaving :)

We have always opted for a hotel room everytime we travelled but this was our first experience living at somebody’s home and it couldn’t have been better.

We live in a family-friendly community that was home to therapeutic warm springs until some time ago. Our home is calm and peaceful. We have two listings here, and we're far enough off I40 but near enough for easy traveling. It's quiet here and yet still has a cool bar and grill, beer, wine and liquor. This is a place you could retreat to. Or explore. Bring your family and friends and learn how to relax. This space is larger with a queen bed and a single sleeper sofa. It also has private entrance to parking and a living room area with flat screen and DVD player. Access to the bathroom is up one flight of stairs with railings and lit for safety. Plenty of seating and a small table for writing. You can float down the Harpeth on rented kayaks or canoes, see the historic Bottom Mounds, play disc golf, do yoga, eat pizza, BBQ or Mexican, take a walk or just sit on the porch and be/do. You could venture out to Nashville or Bellevue in less than 30 minutes for a movie or concert. We have live music at the Fillin Station Wednesday thru Saturday nights while we eat Patty Melts with a cold one or pizza next door at Sky King. The Natchez Trace Parkway 444 miles of exceptional scenery and overpasses houses and roads.
