Located in Kaag, this 2-bedroom holiday home for 6 is perfect for couples on a romantic getaway or a family with children. Situated on an island, this home also has a private terrace to enjoy views.

The serene and calming Lake Dieperpoel (100 m) is the perfect destination to spend a relaxing day by the banks. For sports enthusiasts, sports like horse-riding (4 km) and golf (10 km) can be enjoyed nearby. There are also several restaurants and supermarkets (0.2 km) close to the home.

This holiday home is well-furnished with amenities for a comfortable stay. The modular kitchen is equipped with an electric kettle, a coffee machine, and a microwave. An evening spent by the outdoor fireplace or wood stove, relaxing on the lounge set will surely leave you with a memorable experience. There is a garden with furniture and a swing set. The host provides a high chair and a cot on request and allows 1 pet at a small fee.

Das Haus ist so dekoriert, als würde man durch einen Secondhand-Laden gehen. Der Schlafboden erinnert an eine Jugendherberge. Küchentücher waren neu und konnten daher kein Wasser aufnehmen: kein Trocknen, nur Abwischen. An den Tüchern gibt es keine Schlaufen, keine Haken, an denen man sie aufhängen kann. kein Handtuch oder Seife in der Toilette. Es gab nicht genügend Toilettenpapier und eine kleine Menge Spülmittel. Habe es gerade selbst gekauft. Eine unglückliche und unordentliche Küche. Kurz gesagt: ein fantastischer Raum, der nicht richtig eingerichtet und renoviert wurde, insbesondere was die Sanitäranlagen und die Küche betrifft, das war es. Außenterrasse: herrlich. Schöner Kamin. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern, sie können wenig Schaden anrichten und haben einen tollen Spielbereich. Dann müssen die Spielsachen in den Nebenschränken auf dem Dachboden ergänzt/restauriert werden, denn auch das war eine große Sauerei. Eine bessere Sortierung der Bücher wäre wünschenswert, das ist heutzutage nicht mehr so schwierig. Ein Fernseher, der unverständlich funktioniert: Bitte fügen Sie der Broschüre eine Erklärung zur Verwendung hinzu.

We had mixed experiences in the house. Using the ferry to reach the island of Kaag is really a nice experience and worked well. The house is very spacious with a lot of room. The WiFi worked perfectly, even on parts of the terrace. The house, the dishes, the kitchen were very clean and in good order. A lot of parking spaces are available directly at the house. On the more negative side: on arrival, we did not met or reach a person to hand over the house key. We were not informed, that the key was available in a key save next to the entrance. Fortunately a lady from the neighborhood could help us. We think, it should be mentioned in the description, that depending on the direction of the wind, the house is located in the direct entry lane of Schiphol Airport, it´s really noise and annoying. Also the nearby dockyard was quite noisy from time to time. The nice view across the canal and the polder behind the house, which is visible on the pictures, was unfortunately blocked by 2 meter high water reed, thus the view was more against a green wall. Sunloungers were not there. The equipment in the kitchen like glasses, plates, etc. was not sufficient for a house, which is rented to 6 people. The bathroom only offers a very tiny washbasin and no power socket for hairdryer or shaver. But, after we got a bit used to this deficiencies, we really enjoyed our holiday on Kaag and in the house.
