The ChamartĂn district is located in the northern part of the city. This upscale neighborhood is ideal for newcomers. ChamartĂn takes its name from ChamartĂn Market, a 1,600-square meter indoor arcade that is perfect for gourmands. Visitors can shop for fresh fish, meat and produce along with pĂątĂ©s and other specialty food items. Given the proximity to the market, it's no wonder that ChamartĂn has wonderful restaurants and imaginative bars and cafes. The area is also home to the National Auditorium of Music, home of the national orchestra. Another key neighborhood landmark is Santiago BernabĂ©u Stadium, where the football team Real Madrid plays, and also the Districtâs proximity to the business center Las Cuatro Torres.
