Acerca de este alojamiento
Luxury Shepherds Hut with hot tub, firepit and gas barbeque
Fferm Fach is the Welsh for small farm, and you can experience the beauty of smallholder life and the great outdoors from the comfort of your own luxury Shepherd hut.
You can enjoy the stunning views across the countryside to Snowdon whilst you soak in the kirami log burning hot tub, or are warmed by the fire pit in the willow garden. Enjoy a drink on the raised deck after roasting a feast on the inbuilt barbeque or in the stylish kitchen.
Located on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, just off the Menai Strait, the hut has the best of both worlds -a rural location, but near enough to enjoy the amenities of two local towns. Nestled on the hill in between Menai Bridge, with its iconic suspension bridge, and the captivating seaside castle town of Beaumaris. Both towns are brimming with bustling restaurants, pubs, cafes and independent artisan shops and markets. The smallholding is directly off the Anglesey Coastal Path and overlooks fields with distance views of the Snowdonia Mountain ranges.
The secluded stay is just as gorgeous as th rural surroundings, expertly designed with handcrafted and sleek interiors. Inside you’ll find everything you could need for a wonderful weekend away, including a luxurious double bed, a kitchenette and an shower room.
And all this space is your own, with no neighbouring huts or yurts, just the livestock!
Shepherd Hut Facilities:
• Drop down Double Bed to snuggle under with a down filled duvet & cotton bedding
• Overhead skylight (& blind) for clear night star gazing
• Spacious dining area with mobile charger points and under bench storage
• A selection of board games
• Bench sofa & cushions overlooking French doors and a log burning stove ( initial logs supplied)
• Integrated fan heating
• Internal kitchen complete with Belfast sink, 1 ring gas hob, under counter small fridge freezer and microwave
• Slimline wardrobe
• Internal bathroom – shower, handbasin, mirror and modern Separett Villa compost toilet (with integrated fan)
• Fluffy bathroom towels & Faith in Nature Eco products included
• Oak stable side door leading on to decking area and outdoor seats
• External eco cooler and ice blocks to chill your bubbles and beer
• Willow garden with firepit
Owing to solar panels there are the plug sockets which can be used for laptops but not hairdryers.
Hot Tub & Gardens
Located at the rear of the shepherd hut for the utmost privacy, is the 2 person kirami log burning hot tub, perfect for a hot soak with mountain views.
Guests can enjoy the in-built gas barbeque and sunken firepit within the willow garden.
Animals
Your neighbours… Alpacas, Herdwick sheep, ducks, hens and sometimes a cockerel. However, to ensure they remain happy and healthy and not unduly stressed by even the friendliest of four legged friends, and we ask that dogs are always kept on leads and only one dog is allowed per stay.
In addition, you’ll see lots of wild rabbits, the odd pheasant, and if you’re lucky, a red squirrel.
A relaxing and sustainable holiday – whatever the weather
As a member of the Woodland Champions Club, we are proud of our sustainability credentials and the off-grid Shepherd hut is fully insulated, has solar power and a modern composting toilet.
Open all year, so if the sun is shining why not open the oak stable door and relax on the decking with a glass of wine, or take a soak in the log fuelled Swedish hot tub.
For colder days, take a woodland walk then cosy up on the sofa, watch the flames flicker in the stove, and look through the French doors at our alpacas, Herdwick sheep, hens and ducks. On a clear night relax in bed and gaze through the star skylight.
And if you don’t feel like cooking, a 10 minute stroll down the lane brings you to the water’s edge of the Menai Strait and the Gazelle Hotel and Restaurant or book a taxi to Beaumaris or Menai Bridge.
Please note: The hut is not suitable for children under 11
