Undoubtedly, this is one of the best walking and mountain biking areas in the Dales, with The Dales Way passing nearby. The village itself lying on the banks of the River Wharfe is a real delight with traditional built stone cottages, three pubs, a Post Office, speciality shops and a hotel.
