Disappointing experience due to parking and accessibility issues
We were unfortunately very disappointed. Just prior to our arrival, I had broken my collarbone and was in considerable pain when walking even short distances. The listing mentioned street parking, and the photos did not accurately depict the steepness of the street or the difficulty in finding a parking space.I believe the site has since been changed, maybe due to my complaint, as now no parking at all is mentioned.Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that parking was nearly impossible. The street was extremely steep, and there was no viable parking nearby. We even attempted to drive down the narrow street to double-check, scraping a hubcap in the process. Unfortunately, there were no reasonable parking options, and walking up the steep hill in my condition was not manageable. The parking lot pictured in the photos was completely full.When I reached out to the host about the situation, their response was that the photos and description should have made it clear what to expect. In our case, they did not. Had the listing accurately conveyed the steep street and challenging parking situation, we would not have chosen this rental, even in ideal circumstances.Regrettably, we were unable to stay. If you have any mobility concerns or require convenient parking, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at the property and requested a refund of the cleaning fee, but this request was declined.
