Beautiful & Close to Everything

The property was beautiful and was close to all amenities. The host was super responsive and helped with any issues we had. The only downside was the landscaper showing up Monday morning without us knowing so we weren't really able to enjoy the outdoor area before checking out.

Immaculately maintained property, terrific view of the San Jacinto mountains. Close to airport, but noise wasn't really a problem. Only 2 small negatives: not enough glassware (eg wine glasses, juice glasses) and the fire pit did not work. Would book this place again!

Gorgeous property

Beautiful home with tasteful decor, great outdoor areas with comfortable seating, beautiful mountain and sunset views, and all with extreme privacy. The only issue we had was during high winds, when the flag flying at the front of the house flapped so loudly that it disrupted sleep in the two front bedrooms. Otherwise we loved our stay. Excellent accommodations.

Just Lovely

The house is beautifully decorated. Spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 children. It was so enjoyable sitting in the garden, by the firepit; especially after a night swim in the heated pool. Garage is available which made it super easy to unload/load your vehicle. The mgmt company was attentive and made sure everything was set.

Your Comments This place by far exceeded our expectations! My family and I visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday and First off, Jake was beyond accommodating and helpful in assuring myself and family were fully acclimated upon arrival. He was super nice and had such a wonderful spirit! He not only greeted us at the home to give us a detailed run down but was also able to provide us with resources for some family, as well as adult/couple’s , recreational activities in the area…which helped kick off the birthday vacay shenanigans! Now for the house….GORGEOUS! Clean and had every speck of what you’d need on a vacay!…down to eating utensils for my rambunctious toddler! Typically when we travel, my wife packs our entire house to assure we have all we need but this wasn’t necessary in this situation because the home provided the necessities and THEN SOME! The backyard was LIFE!…beautiful space…the pool was clean and was a breath of fresh air amid us visiting during the 120 degree heat wave! The homes location was perfect…near malls, restaurants, spa and supermarkets. As far as COVID guidelines…the house itself was clean to the MAX! I usually pack my own linen when traveling but this was again not needed (I never used mines). We have no complaints and would’ve loved to pick the entire house up and take it back home with us if we could. We’d definitely use this house again! AWESOME EXPERIENCE!

Beautiful home and setting - please improve communication around maintenance

The house was very clean and had very nice furnishings and decor. The yard was exceptional, beautiful and relaxing environment. Incredible house! The only negative was communication around maintenance - the binder relayed that a gardener comes on Thursdays, timing varied; we reached out to the property manager to understand a more specific time (because of our dog), which they were unable to do. We waited inside majority of Thursday to avoid the gardener - they never show up, and upon checking out we find out from Arrived that the owner has out of date info in the binder. The gardener ended up showing up unexpectedly at 8am the morning we were checking out, with no notice or door bell, and just walked into the backyard as we were in the pool, with our dog off leash...not great. We also couldn't get the hot tub to work, but that could have been user error on our part

Very clean, great outdoor spaces front and back, well appointed

The good - the house and yard were very clean and nicely landscaped, with well designed night lighting in both the front and back yards. The beds were high quality (better than other VRBO's we have stayed at). There were plenty of towels, extra pillows, etc., and the kitchen was well appointed. You are met personally by a representative of the property management company that explains the ins and outs of the place efficiently and can give dining recommendations if you ask. Parking inside the garage was nice and there is a new washer and dryer as well. The bad - the "whirlpool spa" in the description is misleading - there are no jets in the spa! It is merely hot water - very disappointing. The rep even showed us the timer he thought was for the jacuzzi jets and it turned out all it controlled was the light in the spa. There is also considerable airport noise from prop and jet planes taking off overhead so be prepared for that. It was extremely windy the first day and a half of our 3 night stay - to the point where you had to be inside. This is mother nature and not the property's issue, but be aware it is located where some of the highest winds in the Palm Springs area occur. The neighborhood and location are fair, not great. The hedges all around the entire property do a good job of making it a very private space though. It is about a 4-5 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. The only thing that didn't work was the toaster. The weather was clear and in the 80's so we did not even need to turn on the heat or AC. Would return to this place in 2-3 years for another long weekend. It earns 4 stars (not 5) and seemed a good value compared to other places that were considered.

Nice property

We stayed here for 10 days in December. While the process to communicate regarding Covid restrictions was confusing and there was a lack of follow through, the home itself is a delight. The pictures don’t really do it justice.It is perfect for large family gatherings with 10 different outdoor seating areas each with a different view of the mountains or the lawn or statues or cactuses. The pool and spa are gorgeous and the fire pit is big enough for 10 people. The kitchen was not organized very well and needs a little bit of work but functioned well and we were able to cook meals for a group. Everything else is perfect. We were very delighted with the Christmas Decour and feel that this is a well run VRBO home.

Received an email and voicemail the day of arrival saying that the home was under construction and not going to be available: Very disappointing that they could not inform us earlier. I had to find minute accommodations which was quite unnerving given how busy it was this weekend. still waiting for our full refund. :(

Comfortable and relaxing stay

The best part of the house is the impressive private outdoor space which is perfect for a week in sunny Palm Springs. The house is well-stocked with all the kitchen things you need to make you feel at home. We had an issue being locked out of the house around 10pm due the door being jammed. The good thing is that someone was available to let us in after 45 mins, but there was a bit of back and forth with finding a resolution since the property is managed by a third party. Overall, a great stay!

The good and the bad

The house itself is awesome, came out here for LDW. The backyard feels like it's own Oasis. Things to keep in mind: - The tap water is murky/milkish when you brush your teeth/cook you realize it. - There is a sewage type odor in the master bedroom's bathroom. Plenty of Lysol will kill it - I got an awesome welcome text, along with help for the first 3 hours, beyond that I was texting myself for help. ( Happy to share my screenshots of the lack in response for all things missing) - The AC unit blew out on our second day, despite us following the instructions laid out, and it required a 4 hour availability window (7:00pm- 10:00pm granted I understood that it was a holiday weekend) to ensure someone could come out to fix it. What was upsetting was the issue itself. Technician was amazingly friendly! - My group left a make up bag in the master bedroom's bathroom so I reached out requesting the possibility of recovery. They stated there were people there so they could no provide status. That was Sept 9th, I followed up requesting any kind of update and they said people were staying there so they couldn't let me know if it was found. It is now Sept 26th and I still have not heard back. My issue with this is not the lack of response that mirrored my stay, my issue is that they claim to be COVID conscious along with charging the fee, yet they didn't clean properly enough to let me know my bag was in the bathroom. Either they don't clean enough or they simply dismiss you once you've been charged. Either way, ARRIVED seems to be a money collecting type mirage, they forget about you once they're paid (surprise, surprise), type service.

Fabulous property.

This house was everything we expected and then some. It was very clean, had everything we could need and the backyard and pool is EVERYTHING. It is a very private property with a large front courtyard as well. Check in was super easy and property management was also easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Would highly recommend and would most definitely come back. Gorgeouse house!

Casa San Marino - AMAZING!

Casa San Marino was a Dream! My family usually stays at the JW Marriot in Palm Desert every summer. Due to Covid and the new hotel policies that was not an option for us, as we have a 7 year old who loves to be in the pool all day. When we came across Casa San Marino, I had know idea that in person it would be just as Lovely as the online pictures. It was actually more! My family never left the property for the 3nights/4days we were there. There was no need. Everything was there for us. The home inside & outside is amazing. The furnishing, the art work, the linens, the landscaping, The POOL and most importantly CLEANLINESS, the list goes on & on. We want to Thank You for the absolute most pleasant experience of 2020. And, as I am sure you are aware that is not an exaggeration. We live 4 blocks from Redondo Beach & my son surfs, but there is nothing like a heated pool. Needless to say, he does not want to leave Casa San Marino and that says a lot about the experience that you all have created. Thank You Again & we would love to return in the future. The property is very well represented in the photos. Clean, stocked. Only issue I had was some miscommunication at the check in and the plane noise in the morning. The planes are pretty loud and it starts very early and with a baby that’s a light sleeper, it was a small issue for us.

Luxury home with everything you need

A beautiful oasis. Tranquil and relaxing. The grounds are better than an upscale hotel. Loved our stay and would recommend it to all our friends.

Great Place, Poor Management

I loved the house and amenities, but the management company's lack of communication and follow through really left a sour taste in my mouth for this place / any others managed by Arrived.
