If you've always wanted to stay in a castle, then look no further! Castello Toscana is a Tuscan castle that can sleep up to 18 guests in 9 bedrooms. It's the perfect venue for a holiday with friends and family. But it can also work equally well for those looking to celebrate a special event in Italy.



The Space:

As soon as you enter the estate through its secure wrought iron gates, the excitement of staying in Castello Toscana will grab you.



Inside, the accommodation is arranged over two floors within the main castle. There is also a separate dependence for guests to use.



On the ground floor of the castle, guests will find a welcoming and spacious living room. Sofas and chairs are arranged around a fireplace (please note this is not in working order) and there is a TV for relaxed nights in. There is also an elegant dining room and a well equipped kitchen. This is set up to cater for large groups with two double hobs and two ovens. There is also a large fridge and freezer, microwave, two dishwashers and microwave. There are a choice of coffee machines for guests to use including a Nespresso machine, American coffee machine and Moka pot. The first two bedrooms are on this floor. One is equipped with a double bed and has doors leading directly out to a private terrace. The second is furnished with two single beds. There is also a laundry room with washing machine.



The remaining six bedrooms are on the first floor of the property. Here guests will find four further double bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with two single beds. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, all of which have showers. Two of the ensuite bathrooms also have a bath tub. The master bedroom suite is extremely spacious and also boasts a private sitting room and study.



The dependence is found next to the castle cellars. This is a lovely mini apartment, arranged over two floors. Inside, guests will find an entrance hall, kitchen, sitting area, library, double bedroom and bathroom. Guests have a possible option of adding a separate single bed to the bedroom if required. Please ask for more details. It's ideal for a nanny or member of staff. Or it's equally good for grandparents or a family member who perhaps prefers their own space on holiday.



Castello Toscana is perfect for large groups. It's also the ideal setting for weddings, events and celebrations. For those making wedding plans, there is an intimate and private chapel that guests are welcome to use.



Outside, there is a large private garden. A beautiful terrace overlooks the private swimming pool (11 x 5.5 metres with a depth of 80 to 135 cm) and wraps itself around the property, offering incredible 360 views over the surrounding countryside.



Please note that there are some additional costs. Heating and gas is charged at 6 euros per cubic metre and is payable locally on departure based on usage. Air conditioning is charged at 0.90 euros per KW should guests wish to use it. If you prefer not to use it, the air conditioning will remain off and there will be no charge. Local taxes are also not included in the price and must be paid locally. Should any rubbish be left in the property at the end of a stay, there will be a charge of 150 euros. Should guests prefer, we can provide a daily refuse collection service costing an extra 100 euros per week. Pets are welcome on request but there is an additional charge of 50 euros per animal.



In rare instances, the local authorities may impose restrictions on water usage should there be a shortage in the area. In this instance, any water consumption over a fixed amount will need to be paid for on departure at a cost of 5 euros per cubic metre. Rest assured, there will be sufficient water to cover normal consumption on holiday. This would just be to deter wastage if needed.



The Neighborhood:

Castello Toscana is ideally placed to explore both Tuscany's beautiful coastline as well as its rich rural landscape. The nearest beaches are just 15 km away whilst key Tuscany towns and cities such as Siena, Bolgheri and Chianti are all within easy reach by car.



The nearest airport is in Pisa (70 km) but it is also possible to fly into Florence (125 km). The nearest supermarket is 10 km from Villa Lecco.
