We chose this area for its unique combination of countryside charm and excellent transport connections. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly location with quick access to central London, St Albans, and the surrounding Hertfordshire countryside.
Zarza House is set on a quiet residential street, less than a five-minute walk from the University of Hertfordshire campus and The Galleria shopping centre. The nearby Hatfield Aerodrome Heritage Trail, once home to the WWII Mosquito fighter bomber, now offers scenic walking and cycling paths.
Within a two-minute drive are a local petrol station, a traditional countryside pub, The Italian Kitchen restaurant, and a large farm shop offering fresh produce. Aldi and Asda supermarkets are also close by.
Just 10 minutes away, the historic city of St Albans features excellent restaurants, boutique shops, and charming cafés. The cathedral and Verulamium Park are standout attractions, particularly during the festive seasons. The twice-weekly street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays is also a highlight for visitors.
Harry Potter World in Watford is approximately 25 minutes by car, and direct trains from St Albans station reach London St Pancras International in about 20 minutes.
