This beautifully spacious, raised-level, ground-floor apartment is set within an impressive 19th-century building in leafy Brockley,SE4 London. Offering fantastic access to transport links to Central London and more locally to the popular Royal Borough of Greenwich-home to the Royal Naval College. The apartment features high ceilings and elegant furnishings throughout and is perfectly located for many local independent shops, restaurants and cafes. A comfortable London stay for up to 2 guests!
Located within the popular Brockley Conservation Area, which is regularly described as 'a hidden gem in South London', renowned for its tree-lined streets and friendly atmosphere. The apartment is situated in one of Brockley, SE4's most sought-after roads.
This homely, comfortable, character-filled accommodation consists of.....
Open plan Living Room/Dining Room area...
This generously sized room is light and airy with impressively high ceilings, large period window, artwork and plenty of character throughout.
The space is comfortably fitted with a two large sofas, a side table, with lamp, a large rug and a coffee table. In a corner of the space is an armchair along with an additional reading lamp, making this a perfect area to relax with a book. There is a wooden dining table and two decorative chairs (there are a further two chairs available within the apartment).
The TV (terrestrial TV) in this space also has an Amazon Firestick, allowing access to Netflix etc..(please note that personal log-ins are required to access the available Apps).
This living room/dining room space is located at the front of the apartment and the large window benefits from a view to the tree-lined street below.
Bedroom
The bedroom is perfectly situated at the back of the apartment, overlooking the garden spaces of neighbouring properties. It offers a comfortable (UK) king-size bed with four pillows and two large wardrobes providing ample storage for guest to unpack their belongings and feel at home. There are bedside tables on either side of the bed along with table lamps to give a cosier ambiance when preferred. There is a wooden chest of drawers with a convenient mirror above this unit and a chair to the side.
The apartment is carpeted throughout except within the kitchen and bathroom areas.
Bathroom
This ample-sized bathroom features a bath with hand-held shower attachment which is only suitable to use when sat in the bath. Please note that there is no shower curtain or wall-mounted attachment for this showerhead. Within the space is also a hand basin with over basin mirrored cabinet, a WC and towel rail. There is some surface space available for belongings, under the window.
Kitchen
The bright and light kitchen is compact yet well-equipped. There is a large fridge-freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a Lavazza coffee machine (pods for this machine can be purchased at most large supermarkets). There is ample storage space for guests to use, with fitted cabinets throughout. The surface space, utensils and pots and pans available are perfect for those guests wishing to cook during their stay.
There will be some complimentary tea and coffee, as well as shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up kit, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Tesco Express just a two minute walk away on Lewisham Way which is open 6am - 11pm, 7 days a week.
The accommodation is professionally cleaned and the linen and towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Each guest will receive one hand towel and one shower towel during their stay.
Please note that the apartment is within the Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) and charges may apply for drivers. There is free on-street parking on the road and the surrounding roads. This is limited and subject to availability. Please observe any road signs or parking restriction notices.

Guests will have access to the majority of the apartment during their stay other than some wardrobe space and locked areas used for the owner's belongings. There will be plenty of storage space available for guest belongings.
ACCESS - My ground-floor apartment is located raised level so therefore a small amount of external stairs will need to be climbed to access the apartment. There is an external railing for support.
BATHROOM - please note that although there is a shower head this can only be used when sitting in the bathtub as there is no wall mount for the showerhead and no shower curtain available.
IRON/IRONING BOARD - There is an iron and small ironing board for guests to use along with a clothes drying rack.
TV (Please note - The (terrestrial) TV has an Amazon Firestick which allows guests to access the available Apps- (guest personal log-ins must be used to access these Apps).
NOISE - Please respect our neighbours by being considerate and keeping noise to a minimum. No amplified sound systems please.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
